Solving some Navier-Stoes Equations with the initial conditions being some complex-valued periodic functions on R arxiv: v [math.ap] 15 Jul 2015 Tao Zhang a, Alatancang Chen a,b,, Fan Bai a a School of Mathematical Sciences of Inner Mongolia University, Hohhot, , China b Huhhot University for Nationalities, Hohhot, , China Abstract. In this paper, we utilize some series and an iterative method to solve some Navier-Stoes equations with the initial conditions being some complex-valued periodic functions on R. Then a new strategy for dealing with the conecture of the Navier- Stoes equation is given. Key words: Iterative method; Navier-Stoes equation 1 Introduction Notation Definition 1.1. The set R the real numbers. C the complex numbers. R n ={(r 1,,r n ) r R,,2,,n}. N n ={( 1,, n ) = 0,1,2,,,2,,n}. N n +={( 1,, n ) = 1,2,,,2,,n}. Z n ={( 1,, n ) ± N,,2,,n}. e 1 =(2π,0,0), e 2 =(0,2π,0), e =(0,0,2π). ϕ = exp(i 1 x 1 +i 2 x 2 +i x ), =( 1, 2, ) Z. a,b,c={( 1, 2, ) (a 1,b 2,c ) N }, a,b,c=±1. { f C (R ) D β f = Z h D β ϕ, β N, {h } Z C} is a linear space, we use IE(R ) to denote this space. The existence and smoothness of the Navier-Stoes equation is an open problem [1]. Consider the following question with respect to Navier-Stoes equation: Corresponding author. address: zhangtaocx@16.com (T. Zhang), alatanca@imu.edu.cn (A. Chen), bf12.student@sina.com (F. Bai). 2 2 Question 1.2. Whether there exist p(x,t),u (x,t) (u (x+e i,t)=u (x,t), i,,2,) such that the following Navier-Stoes equation hold? u t + (u m u xm νu xm x m )+ p x = 0,,2,, (1.1) u 1x1 +u 2x2 +u x = 0, x=(x 1,x 2,x ) R, t 0, (1.2) u (x,0)= A ϕ IE(R ),,2,, Z (1.) where ν>0, u (x,0),,2, are real-valued functions. Theorem 1.. Clearly we have (i) A = 1 8π [0,2π] u (x,0)ϕ dx 1 dx 2 dx, Z,,2,. (ii) A m 1 1 m 2 2 m 2 <,,2,, (m 1,m 2,m ) N. Z (iii) By the conditions (1.2) and (1.) we get Z A ϕ = 0, Z. Note that the sequence{ϕ } Z is linearly independent, so we have A = 0, Z. (iv) A ϕ IE(R ), a,b,c,2,, a,b,c=±1. In this paper, base on the idea of paper [2], we can solve the following PDEs in some cases: the PDEs (1.1) and (1.2), u (x,0)= B ϕ IE(R ),,2,, (1.4) a,b,c where a,b,c=±1. If we let A ϕ = Z a,b,c=±1 B ϕ. (1.5) a,b,c Then there should be some relation between the solution of the PDEs (1.1)-(1.) and the solution of the PDEs (1.4). So a new strategy for dealing with the conecture of the Navier- Stoes equation is given.
2 Main results First we solve the following PDEs: { the PDEs (1.1) and (1.2), u (x,0)= B ϕ IE(R ),,2,. (2.1) N Suppose that the PDEs (2.1) has a solution satisfying: u (x,t)= N T (t)ϕ,,2,; p(x,t)= N T 4 (t)ϕ. (2.2) Assume that the series (2.2) satisfies the following conditions: where u = T (t)ϕ C(R [0,+ )), N,2,, (2.) p= T 4 (t)ϕ C(R [0,+ )), N (2.4) u t = T (t)ϕ C(R [0,+ )),,2,, (2.5) N u xm = i m T (t)ϕ C(R [0,+ )), N m,,2,, (2.6) u xm x m = 2 m T (t)ϕ C(R [0,+ )), N m,,2,, (2.7) p x = i T 4 (t)ϕ C(R [0,+ )), N,2,, (2.8) u m u xm = η m ϕ C(R [0,+ )), N m,,2,, (2.9) η m = [2] m T m [1]T [2], [l] =( [l] 1,[l] 2,[l] ) N, l= 1,2, m,,2,. [1] + [2] = Then substituting the series (2.2) into the equations (2.1) we get T m,(0,0,0) + [T m + ( >(0,0,0) [1] + [2] = (i 1 T 1 +i 2 T 2 +i T )ϕ = 0, N u (x,0)= N B ϕ = N T (0)ϕ,,2,. i [2] T [1] T m [2]+ν 2 T m)+i m T 4 ]ϕ = 0,,2,, Note that the sequence{ϕ } N is linearly independent, so the above equations are equivalent to the following ODEs: { T,(0,0,0) = 0,,2,, T,(0,0,0) (0)= B,(0,0,0),
4 and T m + ( [1] + [2] = i [2] T [1] T m [2]+ν 2 T m)+i m T 4 = 0,,2,, 1 T T 2 + T = 0, T (0)= B,,2,, where >(0,0,0). By the equations 1 T T 2 + T = 0, >(0,0,0), we have 1 T 1 + 2T 2 + T = 0, >(0,0,0). Then we obtain So we get where m [1] + [2] =, [1], [2] >(0,0,0) T,(0,0,0) (t)= B,(0,0,0),,2,, T 4,(0,0,0) = a, a is an arbitrary constant, T 4 (t)= m [1] + [2] =, [1], [2] >(0,0,0) i [2] T [1] T m [2]+T 4 i 2 m= 0, >(0,0,0). 2 m [2] T [1]T m [2], >(0,0,0), T (t)=exp( P (t))( t 0 Q (s)exp(p (s))ds+b ),,2,, >(0,0,0), Q m = i [2] T [1] T m [2] i m T 4,,2,, [1] + [2] =, [1], [2] >(0,0,0) P (t)= i B,(0,0,0) t+ν 2 t. Clearly we have: Theorem 2.1. If the series (2.2) we obtain satisfies the conditions (2.)-(2.9), then it is a solution of the PDEs (2.1). By the Abel identities [] we have: Lemma 2.2. For any =1,2,, we have (i) (ii) (+1)! m!(+1 m)! mm (+1 m) m = (+1), (+1)! m!(+1 m)! mm 1 (+1 m) m = 2(+1) 1 2(+1). Corollary 2.. For any =( 1,, n ) N n +, we have (1,,1) (m 1,,m n ) m 1 n m m 1 ( +1 m ) m m!( +1 m )! 2 n 1 1 n ( +1) ( +1)!.
5 Lemma 2.4. Let =( 1, 2, ) N, = , ν 1. If Then we have B e 1 10, >(0,0,0),,2,.,2,, >0! T i (t) exp( ν t ), >(0,0,0), i= 1,2,. (2.10),2,, >0! Proof. We prove the inequalities (2.10) by the induction method. By a simple calculate we can induce that the inequalities (2.10) hold when =1,2. Suppose that it hold for any <n (n>2), then by Corollary 2., for any =( 1, 2, ) (1,1,1), =n (without loss of generality we suppose that 1 2, ), we have T 4 (t) m m 2 m 60 Q (s) [2] [1] + [2] =, [1], [2] T [1] T m [2] >(0,0,0) 2 m ( m 1 1 m i i,i=1,2, 1! exp( ν t ), [1] + [2] =, [1], [2] >(0,0,0) m m 1 ( m ) m 1 m!( m )! ! exp( ν t ),,2,, [2] T [1](s) T m [2](s) + T 4 (s) T (t) exp( ν 2 t)( t 0 Q (s) exp(ν 2 s)ds+ B ) ! exp( ν t ),,2, ! )exp( ν t ) In a similar way, we can prove that the inequalities (2.10) hold for any =( 1, 2, ) N with 1 = 0 or 2 = 0 or = 0. Theorem 2.5. Let = , ν 1. If B e 1 10, >(0,0,0),,2,.,2,, >0! Then the series (2.2) we obtain is a solution of the PDEs (2.1). Proof. We only need to prove that the series (2.2) we obtain satisfies the conditions (2.)- (2.9). Note that m m! e, m N, so we have { T i (t)ϕ e ν t, >(0,0,0), i= 1,2,, T 4 (t)ϕ 60 e ν t, >(0,0,0).
6 Hence the series (2.2) converges absolutely on Ω [0,+ ). It means that the series (2.2) we obtain satisfies the conditions (2.)-(2.4). Moreover, we can prove that T m ϕ = ( i [2] T [1] T m [2]+ν 2 T m)+i m T 4 ϕ [1] + [2] = (ν 2 T m + Q m )<( ν )e ν t,,2,, >(0,0,0), 2 T mϕ e ν t, m,,2,, >(0,0,0), T 4 ϕ 60 e ν t,,2,, >(0,0,0), η m ϕ 10 e ν t, m,,2,, >(0,0,0). So the series (2.2) we obtain satisfies the conditions (2.5)-(2.9). Therefore it is a solution of the equations (2.1) by Theorem 2.1. Similarly, we can get: Theorem 2.6. Let ν 1. For any a,b,c=±1, if B exp( ) 10 1, (a 1,b 2,c )>0,,2,,,2,, >0! then the solution of the PDEs (1.4) exists. Theorem 2.7. For any a,b,c=±1, if the functions p, u,,2, satisfy the PDEs (1.4), then p, u,,2, satisfy the following PDEs the PDEs (1.1) and (1.2), u (x,0)= B ϕ,,2,. a,b,c Next suppose that the equality (1.5) holds, then we give the following conectures: Conecture 2.8. If for any a,b,c=±1, the solution of the PDEs (1.4) exists (and unique), then the solution of the PDEs (1.1)-(1.) exists (and unique). Conecture 2.9. Suppose that for any a,b,c=±1, the functions p abc, u abc,,2, satisfy the PDEs (1.4), and that the functions p,u,,2, satisfy the PDEs (1.1)-(1.), then there exist some nonlinear functions T,,2,,4, such that { T ( )=u (x,t),,2,, T 4 ( )= p(x,t), where ={p abc (x,t),u abc (x,t),2,, a,b,c=±1}.
