CHAP 0 Transformations markoviennes conformes
(M1) : R i = R i (R i est fermé à frontière d intérieur vide) ; (M2) : R i R j =, for i j ; (M3) : chaque image directe T (R i ) est réunion de R j.
CHAP I Mesures doublantes
Mesures doublantes Exemple. Soit Ω := {0, 1} N le full shift binaire : pour tout mot binaire w on note [w] le cylindre des suites de Ω dont le préfixe est w) ; la topologie produit de Ω est donnée par la distance binaire (ξ, ξ ) d bin (ξ, ξ ) := 2 min{k 0 ; ξ k ξ k }. Soient 0 p 0, p 1 1 avec p 0 + p 1 = 1 et ν la mesure de Bernoulli (on Ω) de paramètre (p 0, p 1 ), i.e. pour tout ξ 0 ξ n 1 {0, 1} N, ν[ξ 0 ξ n 1 ] = p ξ0 p ξn 1
Preuve. Si 1/2 n+1 < r 1/2 n, alors B(ξ, r) = [ξ 0 ξ n 1 ] et B(ξ, 2r) = [ξ 0 ξ n 2 ] et donc µ ( B(ξ, 2r) ) = 1 µ ( B(ξ, r) ) { 1 max p ξn 1 p 0, 1 p 1 } µ ( B(ξ, r) ).
Mesures doublantes Contre-exemple. Soit T = R/Z = [0 ; 1[ ; tout mot binaire w est associé à un intervalle dyadique I (w) (semi semi-ouvert à droite) : ainsi, I ( /) = [0 ; 1[ avec l induction I (εw) = I (w)/2 + ε/2. On considère maintenant que ν est le modèle euclidien de la mesure de Bernoulli (p 0, p 1 ) sur T, i.e. Proposition ν ( I (ξ 0 ξ n 1 ) ) = p ξ0 p ξn 1. Si 0 < p 0 < p 1 alors ν n est pas doublante sur T.
Mesures doublantes w n w n w n w n w n w n x = w n w n+1= w n Preuve (sketch). On définit une suite binaire ξ = ξ 0 ξ 1 {0, 1} N par induction : w 0 = 0 ; si w n = ξ 0 ξ an 1 (a n := w n ) alors w n+1 = w n 10 an 1 an! Soit x T de développement binaire ξ : alors, pour on a B(x, r n ) I (w n 10 an ) r n := 1/2 2an+1 I (w n 01 an 1) I (w n 10 an ) I (w n 10 an 1 10) B(x, 2r n )
Mesures doublantes w n w n w n w n w n w n x = w n w n+1= w n En notant simplement µ(m) = µ(i (m)), il vient : ν ( B(x, 2r n ) ν ( B(x, r n ) ) µ(w n01 an 1) + µ(w n 10 an ) + µ(w n 10 an 1 10) µ(w n 10 an ) = p 0µ(w n 1)p1 an + µ(w n1)p0 an + µ(w n1)p0 an p 1 µ(w n 1)p0 an ( ) an p1 = p p 1. p 0 Si p 1 > p 0 > 0 alors ν n est pas doublante.
CHAP II Mesures self-conformes
A µ(dx) exp(φ(x)). (2) Rq.
Propriété d échelle des mesures self-conformes Maintenant on considère : r 0 l horizon d injectivité de T ; µ une mesure (T, exp(φ))-conforme ; R := {R 1,..., R M } (avec R i r 0 ) une partition de Markov ; la matrice d incidence (i, j) A(i, j) {0, 1} t.q. A(i, j) = 1 R j T (R i ) ; Σ A est le sous-shift de {1,..., M} N, associé à A, i.e. ξ 0 ξ 1 Σ A A(ξ k, ξ k+1 ) = 1, k 0. Pour tout i = 1,..., M, U i R i est un ouvert pour lequel T i : U i T (U i ) réalise un difféomorphisme et t i : T (U i ) U i dénote la branche contractive inverse de T i
Propriété d échelle des mesures self-conformes On peut toujours supposer U i suffisamment petit t.q. A(i, j) = 1 = U j T (U i ) ; (3) si ξ = ξ 0 ξ 1 Σ A alors A(ξ n 1, ξ n ) = 1 et U ξn T (U ξn 1 ). Proposition Sous les conditions précédentes, on a les enchainements T (U ξn ) t ξn U ξn T (U ξn 1 ) t ξ n 1 U ξn 1 T (U ξn 2 ) t ξ n 2 t ξ1 Uξ1 T (U ξ0 ) t ξ 0 Uξ0
Propriété d échelle des mesures self-conformes Proposition Pour tout ξ 0 ξ 1 Σ A et tout entier n 1 R[ξ 0 ξ n 1 ] := t ξ0 t ξn 1 ( T (Rξn 1 ) ) et U[ξ 0 ξ n 1 ] := t ξ0 t ξn 1 ( T (Uξn 1 ) ) est un voisinage ouvert de R[ξ 0 ξ n 1 ] et le difféomorphisme t ξ0 t ξn 1 : T (U ξn 1 ) U[ξ 0 ξ n 1 ] est la branche locale inverse de T n.
Propriété d échelle des mesures self-conformes Proposition Soit T : X X une transformation expansive possédant une partition de Markov R = {R 1,..., R M } (et R i < r 0 ) ; alors µ est (T, exp(φ))-conforme si et seulement si i = 1,..., M, A R i = µ(t (A)) = A µ(dx) exp(φ(x)) Preuve (sketch). La (T, exp(φ))-conformité de µ implique ( ), car R i < r 0. Réciproquement, si ( ) est satisfaite alors, A < r 0 µ(t (A)) = p µ( T (A R i ) ) i=1 = p i=0 A R i µ(dt) exp(t) = (Rq. Le fait que µ( R i ) = 0 n a rien d évident!) A ( ) µ(dt) exp(φ(t)).
Propriété d échelle des mesures self-conformes Définition Soit R = {R 1,..., R M } (et R i < r 0 ) une partition de Markov pour T : X X et pour i = 1,..., M soit U i un petit voisinage ouvert de R i et t i : T (U i ) U i = U[i] la branche inverse de T correspondante ; alors pour f : X R borelienne et ξ Σ A, { f ( t ξ0 t ξn 1 (x) ) si x T (U[ξ n 1 ]) f (ξ 0 ξ n 1 x) = 0 si non. Lemme Étant donnés w et m deux mots tels que wm soit Σ A -admissible, f (wm x) = f (w (m x)).
Propriété d échelle des mesures self-conformes Comme pour A U i on a 1 T (A) (x) = 1 A (i x), la caractérisation de la conformité devient : µ(dx) A U i = 1 A (i x)µ(dx) = 1 A (x) exp(φ(x)) ce qu on peut étendre aux fonctions f : X R par µ(dx) Supp(f ) U i = f (i x)µ(dx) = f (x) exp(φ(x)) et en remplaçant x f (x) par x f (x) exp(φ(x)), il vient : Supp(f ) U i = f (i x) exp ( φ(i x) ) µ(dx) = f (x)µ(dx). Soient 1 i, j M t.q. A(i, j) = 1 et f : X R continue de support dans U[ij] ; comme U[ij] U[i]) la fonction x f (i x) a son support dans U[j] et
Propriété d échelle des mesures self-conformes = = = ( ) f (ij x) exp φ(ij x) + φ T (ij x) µ(dx) ( ) ( ) f (i (j x)) exp φ(i (j x)) exp φ(j x) µ(dx) ( ) f (i x) exp φ(i x) µ(dx) f (x)µ(dx) ; par induction on obtient :
Propriété d échelle des mesures self-conformes Pour φ : X R continue on pose : Var n (φ) := max { φ(x) φ(y) ; x y r 0 α n} Soient x, y t.q. x y r 0 α n : alors, 0 k n T k (x) T k (y) r 0 α n k et par suite : Var n (φ) φ(x) φ(y) Var n (φ) Var n 1 (φ) φ(t (x)) φ(t (y)) Var n 1 (φ) Var 1 (φ) φ(t n 1 (x)) φ(t n 1 (y)) Var 1 (φ).
Propriété d échelle des mesures self-conformes Pour φ : X R continue on pose : Var n (φ) := max { φ(x) φ(y) ; x y r 0 α n} Soient x, y t.q. x y r 0 α n : alors, et par suite : 0 k n T k (x) T k (y) r 0 α n k 1 exp ( Var n (φ) ) 1 exp ( Var n 1 (φ) ) ( exp φ(x) exp ( φ(y) ) exp ( Var n (φ) ) ( ) exp φ(t (x)) exp ( φ(t (y)) ) exp ( Var n 1 (φ) ) 1 exp ( Var 1 (φ) ). exp ( φ(t n 1 (x)) ) exp ( φ(t n 1 (y)) ) exp ( Var 1 (φ) )
Propriété d échelle des mesures self-conformes d où (en multipliant les inégalités) on déduit 1 1 K φ K φ (n) exp(s nφ(x)) exp(s n φ(y)) K φ(n) K φ avec ( n ) K φ (n) = exp k=1 Var k(φ) ( ) exp k=1 Var k(φ) =: K φ La continuité de φ : X ] ; 0[ entraîne que Var n (φ) 0, pour n + et par suite (Lemme de Cesàro), Définition 1 lim n + n log K φ(n) = 0 φ est à variations sommables ssi k=1 Var k(φ) < +.
Propriété d échelle des mesures self-conformes Corollaire Si φ est à variation sommable et µ est (T, exp(φ))-conforme, alors (i) : pour A < r 0 α n 1 et x A µ ( T n (A) ) µ(a) exp(s n φ(x)) µ( T n (A) ) K φ K φ (ii) : Si R = {R 1,..., R M } est une partition de Markov (avec R i < r 0 ), alors µ est de support plein sur X et min{µ(r i )} µ ( Rn (x) ) K φ exp ( S n φ(x) ) max{µ(r i)}k φ.
Opérateur de Ruelle Soit P := {P 1,..., P M } une partition de l unité continue, avec P i : X [0 ; 1] et Supp(P i ) U i. Si µ est (T, exp(φ))-conforme, alors pour tout f C(X ) P i (i x)f (i x) exp ( φ(i x) ) µ(dx)= P i (x)f (x)µ(dx) ( ) Définition (opérateur de Ruelle) L opérateur de Ruelle L φ : C(X ) C(X ) (relativement à P) est L φ [f ](x) := M P i(i x)f (i x) exp ( φ(i x) ). i=1 En sommant ( ) pour i = 1,..., M, M L φ [f ](x)µ(dx) = P i(x)f (x)µ(dx) = f (x)µ(dx). i=1
(i) : i = 1,..., M, R i ρ (ii) : B(x 0, Cρ) R 0 (x 0 )
Retour sur les mesures doublantes Soient x 0 X ; 0 < r C 1 r 0 /2 (< r 0 ) ; R 0, partition de Markov pour x 0 et ρ = 2r/C (< C 2 r 0 < r 0 ) ; alors on a R i ρ ( i = 1,, M) et x 0 est approximativement centré dans R 0 (x 0 ), i.e. B(x 0, Cρ) = B(x 0, 2r) R 0 (x 0 ) Rappelons que R n := n k=0 T k (R 0 ) ce qui permet d écrire R 0 (x 0 ) ρ = 2r/C = R n (x 0 ) 2rα n /C 2rα n /C r n log(2c) log α := N 0 Ainsi, il est toujours vrai que R N0 (x 0 ) r : finalement R N0 (x 0 ) B(x 0, r) B(x 0, 2r) R 0 (x 0 )
Retour sur les mesures doublantes
Retour sur les mesures doublantes Par suite µ ( B(x 0, 2r) ) µ ( R 0 (x 0 ) ) entraîne que µ ( B(x 0, 2r) ) µ( R 0 (x 0 ) ) e Sκφ(x 0) e Sκφ(x 0) e S κ+n 0 φ(x 0 ) e S κ+n 0 φ(x 0 ) µ ( R N0 (x 0 ) ) µ( R N0 (x 0 ) ) soit encore (puisque µ ( R N0 (x 0 ) ) µ ( B(x 0, r) ) ) µ ( B(x 0, 2r) ) µ( R 0 (x 0 ) ) 1 e Sκφ(x 0) e S N 0 φ(t κ (x 0 )) e S κ+n 0 φ(x 0 ) µ ( R N0 (x 0 ) ) µ( B(x 0, r) ) ( Par self-conformité de µ, il vient d une part µ ( T κ (R 0 (x 0 )) ) µ(dx) = e Sκφ(x) 1 µ ( R0 (x 0 ) ) K φ e Sκφ(x 0) soit µ ( R 0 (x 0 ) ) e Sκφ(x 0) R 0 (x 0 ) K φ µ ( T κ (R 0 (x 0 )) ) ( )
Retour sur les mesures doublantes et d autre part, d où µ ( T κ (R 0 (x 0 )) ) = µ ( T κ+n 0 (R N0 (x 0 )) ) µ(dx) = e S κ+n 0 φ(x) K φ µ ( RN0 (x 0 ) ) e S κ+n 0 φ(x 0 ) R N0 (x 0 ) e S κ+n 0 φ(x 0 ) µ ( R N0 (x 0 ) ) K 1 φ µ ( ) T κ ( ) (R 0 (x 0 )) et par ( ), ( ) et ( ) on conclut que µ ( B(x 0, 2r) ) K 2 φ exp ( N 0 inf(φ) )µ( B(x 0, r) ) (φ étant continue, 0 < e N 0 inf(φ) e S N 0 φ(x 0 ) )
