8 The Zambian Copperbelt is a NW trending zone, 150 km long x 50 km wide. The Copperbelt of Zambia and DRC contain the largest sediment hosted stratiform copper deposits in the world. The Zambian deposits contained measured production and reserves in excess of 90 million tonnes of Copper 2011 Cu output to be +900,000 tonnes!
