They can also form the basis for a self-assessment of the farmer. A pre-condition of getting a certification against this Add-on is the compliance with the ISCC sustainability standard (202). Using the templates, the point conformity shall indicate if the requirements of sustainability are met ( Yes ) or not met ( No ). In the case of No, not met, the auditor has to explain the reasons in the field Findings. The category No requires establishing measure, which have to be fulfilled by the operator and controlled by the auditor within 0 days. Verify whether pesticides with active ingredients of the following lists have not been used in the agricultural production: Extremely hazardous technical grade active ingredients of pesticide (WHO1a) Highly hazardous (WHO1b) technical grade active ingredients in pesticides Compare list of applied pesticides and their active ingredients with The WHO Recommended classification of pesticides by Hazard 1. Compare list with field records. Relevance 1 st year of implementation: Compare the application date of the pesticide in the records with the date of the self-declaration signature. Within 1 st implementation year of Add-on, any application of WHO 1a or 1b before date of self-declaration signature is not counted as a violation against this Add-on. Note: This regulation is only applicable in the first year of certification! Check storage of pesticides in order to verify whether WHO1a or 1b exist and check whether field records/application lists fit to storage lists..2 Phase out plan for moderately hazardous chemicals and Persistent Organic Pollutants All applied chemicals or active ingredients classified as moderately hazardous, Annex III of the Rotterdam Convention on the Prior Informed Consent Procedure for certain hazardous Chemicals and Pesticides in international trade or listed in the Stockholm Convention on Persistent Organic Pollutants must be recorded.
