Javadi Estahbanati: Researcher, Department of Botany, Iranian Research Institute of Plant Protection, Tehran, Iran Summary In order to identify species and morphologically similar genera, collections from different localities in Hamedan, Kurdestan and Northern provinces of Iran were obtained and examined during spring-summer All specimens belonging to the genus and other morphologically similar genera deposited in the fungus reference collection of the Iranian Ministry of Agriculture were also re-examined. As the result 19 taxa were identified including: Neoovularia ovata (on Salvia hypoleuca, Salvia limbeta, Salvia nemorosa), anchusae (on Anchusa italica, Anchusa ovata), R. brunnea (on Tussilago farfara), R. cynarae (on Carthamus oxyacantha, Carthamus tictorius), R. geranii var. geranii (on Geranium pyrenaicum), R. grevilleana var. grevilleana (on Fragaria x ananassa, Fragaria sp., Potentilla reptans), R. inaequalis (on Calendula persica), R. lamii var. lamii (on Mentha arvensis, Mentha piperita, Mentha sp.), R. macularis (on Chenopodium album), R. pratensis var. pratensis (on Rumex crispus, Rumex sp.), R. rhabdospora (on Plantago lanceolata), R. rubella (on Rumex conglumeratus), R. rumicis (on Rumex crispus, Rumex sp.), R. simplex (on Ranunculus oxyspermus, Ranunculus sahendicus), R. urticae (on Urtica dioica, Urtica urens) and Ramulariopsis gossypii (on Gossypium hirsutum). Among these, inaequalis, R. macularis and R. pratensis var. pratensis are new records for Iran. Furthermore, Mentha piperita and Rumex conglumeratus are new host plants for R. lamii var. lamii and R. Rubella, respectively. Keywords: Hyphomycetes, mycology, plant diseases *
