Bids will be received by the City of Grand Haven, 519 Washington Avenue, Grand Haven, Michigan 49417, Attn: Linda Browand, City Clerk, until 10:00 a.m. local time on Wednesday, March 6, 2019, at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud. Bids must be submitted on the official bid proposal form. Bid envelopes must be clearly marked Flowers Specifications may be obtained at City Hall (Clerk s Office) and at the Grand Haven Public Works Department, 1120 Jackson Street, Grand Haven, Michigan (This is not a mailing address.) Flower plants to be accepted no sooner than May 20, Supplier may be required to hold and care for the flowers until June 14, The reason for this requirement is to enable the parks department time to remove tulips and prepare beds for flower planting. All flats are to be 36 count, plants to be in 4 pots, grasses are to be 6 pots.
