4 PAGE 4 Libra Full Moon & Total Lunar Eclipse 15 April 2014 This Full Moon is a total lunar eclipse and it is visible in eastern Australia around moon rise. On this same day Pluto stations retrograde, so this could be a deeply emotional Full Moon. There is a lot of tension in the ether this Easter, with a host of planets in Libra and an equal number in Aries, along with the exact alignment of the 5th Uranus-Pluto square and cardinal grand cross. The stage is set for some dramatic developments, difficult decisions with the potential for conflicting agendas and proprieties. Whichever way you look at it, individually, globally, collectively, we stand at a crossroads. This lunar eclipse and Pluto s station stir our deepest emotions and bring them to the surface. This can be cathartic, but it can also be painful. We are reminded this month that there are some things in life over which we have no control. We may feel the pressure and tension physically, emotionally, materially, or in other ways. Though it traces a path over Australia, please remember that it is dangerous to look directly at the Sun. Taurus is associated with the abundance of the Earth in springtime, (northern hemisphere) while here the leaves are falling and the energy of life is retreating underground into the Earth. There is a sense of rebirth and renewal with this New Moon/eclipse. Physical, sensual and tactile, Taurus seeks pleasure and comfort. This is a healing and stabilising New Moon that helps us to regroup. It will help to ground us so we can get our bearings and focus on the most important parts of life. Taurus combines the Earth element with the Fixed quality making Taurus surefooted, grounded, practical, patient, resilient and determined. If taken to extremes, Taurus energy can be bull-headed, stubborn, judgemental and inflexible. A true nature lover, Taurus appreciates beauty in all its forms.
