JULIJA SIMAS Embrace Your Agent of Attraction: How Pursuing Your Venus Can Bring Your Heart s Desire Welcome back to The Secrets of I'm Amanda Pua Walsh, and I'm the co-founder of astrologyhub.com. For our next presenter, we are going to be talking to Julija Sinus. Julija is going to be talking to us about Venus and There's going to be some really interesting information about some major events that will be happening in June, so make sure you stick with us until the end. Also, Venus obviously plays a really significant role in helping us create a life we love, so make sure you grab your pen and your calendar. There's going to be some really important dates to note for Hopefully you have that all with you. Julija, are you there with us? I am. Hi, Amanda. Awesome. It's so great to have you. Thank you. No problem. It's good to be involved and spread the light and love of astrology and what we all can do with it. Yes, ma'am. That's definitely true. Why don't we go ahead and dive in? Yeah, no problem. I'll just talk my way through it, and you can ask me something if needs to be reaffirmed during the session. Is that right? That's perfect. Yep. Okay, no problem. Well, look. I chose the topic of talking about Venus for 2016 because well, you've got so many other astrologers talking as well, so to specialize in one topic is a good idea, so we don't overlap with all the similar information, although that's inevitable in a certain sense because we're all looking at the same sky of But I thought I'd focus on Venus because she plays quite an important role in what we call the

mutable cross lineup that is culminating in early June of As Venus is part of this cardinal cross... I'll explain how and why during this session, but astrologists quite often don't pay much attention to Venus. They do on a global level through the signals and signs of what's happening in our cultures and how things spread through the world and what becomes important and so forth, but often Venus is not looked at so significantly unless she's doing what we call a retrograde transit. Therefore in the part of her cycle which takes 584 days from one... Let's say, line up with the Earth, Sun and Venus in one area of the heavens, let's say. It takes 19 months to complete a full cycle and come back down to Earth for her retrograde cycle, as we call it again. In between this cycle, there's a halfway point in this cycle. That's 9 and a half months after the retrograde cycle, but it still involves what we call a Venus star point. Venus only makes 5 star points in her whole cycle. They are what we call conjunctions with the sun. Her star points are made when she is conjunct... Sun from our earthly perspective. One of the conjunctions is the retrograde conjunction where Venus is in between the Earth and the Sun. The other one is called the outer or superior conjunction, when Venus is on the other side of the Sun from us and what we call in the heavenly realm. There's an earthy Venus, the retrograde Venus that's coming closer to the Earth, and the heavenly Venus, which is the one furthest away from us. Okay? In 2016, she's going to make her outer conjunction. As I'd like to call it, her heavenly conjunction with the Sun. What happens here is that this is a period of time in her cycle where she disappears from our skies for the longest. She moves into it at the moment like we... Currently at the beginning of 2016, Venus is a morning star. She continues to be a morning star until she disappears into the Sun's beams during May Then we can't see her for about 60, 70 days because she's in the beams of the Sun. From our perspective, like all astrology is done because it's our viewpoint from where we're looking on Earth. To ancient astrologers, it was always very important to either see a planet or not see a planet. When the planet wasn't visible, it was quite significant that... Where has this planet gone? What are they doing? It became like the myths and the stories about the disappearance of Venus was often regarded as her in the underworld at this time. There's a myth called... From ancient Sumeria called "The Descent of Innana," which is the story of Innana going through 7 gates. It takes her 7 months to go through these 7 gates, to reach the under world where she becomes completely exposed and vulnerable. It's actually quite an intense story, where she's hung on a hook for 3 days. This replicates her exact conjunction with the Sun. Then she's almost resurrected to come back to life, and then progressed to come out of the under world during the next 7 months, as she becomes the evening star. Anyway, it's a big and complicated and long story. For anyone that is going to ask for the offering that I make with this presentation, is the Webinar that I did last year that goes into more detail about this. Okay? For everyone that wants to... We've only got a

certain amount of time here, so for all of you who want to know more about this cycle, I recommend that you get the download for that and watch that in your own time. But anyway... Julija? Oh, sorry. Yes? Just one quick question. Innana is Venus? Yes. Her story, her physical cycle, or synodic cycle, as we call it, around the Sun and connecting to Earth is very much replicated by the story of Innana and her descent into the under world. Quite often, astrologists think of the descent into the under world as when Venus is actually retrograde. Yes, she disappears from our skies for a short time, only for about 20 days, but not as long as she disappears at this outer conjunction, which is about 60 to 80 days. The story goes that it takes her 7 months to get there. A retrograde cycle is only 40 days and 40 nights, which in itself has another big meaning about retreating and reviewing our life and that kind of stuff, but this longer disappearance is more like a... It's almost like a bigger mission. When we think about Venus and the sun conjunction... Because in the end, that's the focal point of Venus coming together with the Sun again, we think about the Sun as representing purpose, life goals, consciousness and where we're heading. The future that we're involved with. Venus puts together the love story that goes with that, like how we love our lives, how we live a life that we love, how we move towards a more fulfilling life, and it tracked that into our being. It becomes like if we understand the Venus cycle, we look at this part that's coming up. We're already in it now. I think we're at about the third of fourth gate by this stage. Anyway, again, this is... There's a bigger story, but it takes 7 months for her to get into this under world. I just like to sort of re-do the myth a bit because the under world seems quite scary. You know? But the story about her going into the under world is that she's exposed and she's vulnerable. What that means to all of us is we're going through a point where we have to really... Let's say, stand our ground. Be really firm about what we decided to do back at the last retrograde, which was August in 2015 in Leo. Okay? This next point happening in Gemini, in June, is about really confirming what we're in, what we're in the middle of, let's say, and being very... It's not being as vulnerable as during the retrograde, but being a much more... As though we're exposed, we're completely exposed to the purity of who we really are. Okay? It's an important sort of aspect to look at as it cycles around. Now as I say this, these points are made... There's 5 points only ever made with the Venus star, okay? She creates this beautiful pentagram and also pentacle in our astrology charts, in 5 areas of our chart so that if we start with the one that's coming up in Gemini, it's going to be at 16 Gemini. 9 and a half months later, there will be another point made at 5 degrees of Aries.

Whoever has got a pen and paper, you can write these down. If you know your chart somewhat or print your chart out, you can put these degrees around your chart. 16 degrees of Gemini, 5 degrees of Aries, 21 of Capricorn, 2 degrees of Scorpio, and 22 degrees of Leo, which it was last year. Okay? It takes her 8 years to complete like a full pentagram around the chart, and only 4 years to completely a pentagram. Okay? Going around the outside or going through the middle as we... As little kids, we all used to draw that endless star on a piece of paper with 5 points where you wouldn't take your pen off. You know, so you kind of miss a point, you go 2 points over and around again. The classic pentacle that you see. That 5 pointed pentacle takes 8 years to make, but what astrologers don't tend to reaffirm is that these star points are actually confirmed every 9 and a half months as they go around our chart. There are 5 major points in our astrology charts that we should just automatically know if we're going to follow astrology. Think about 9 and a half... Sorry. If I'm thinking about June, it's 9 and a half months ago in August 2015, when Venus was retrograde at 22 degrees of Leo. She's going to be at the mid-cycle at 16 degrees of Gemini on the 5th and 6th... Or 6th of June, 5th in America, 6 in the UK and Australia. Then she'll make her next retrograde point at 5 degrees of Aries in March 2017, and so the cycle continues. To follow this cycle is very much about inviting Venus into the rhythm of our life. The more that we follow that rhythm, the better we get at realizing how connected we are to it in the sense of, "Oh my gosh. That did happen 4 years ago," or this relates to a time 8 years ago, as well. This transit coming up in June this year relates to a cycle back in 2012, 2008, and 2004, and so on. But what we have every alternate 4 years is either the retrograde confirmation or the outer heavenly conjunction as I'm talking about now. Okay? In 2012, Venus was at 15 degrees Gemini retrograde. We can think about what was happening in 2012, in midyear. For all of you individually, you can think back and go, "Okay. I was re-doing something to do with my life." Because it was the retrograde, it had something to do with re-learning something, something to do with being involved with re-doing something major in your life to... Well, basically attune yourself to your own evolution, really, because that's what we're constantly doing. Our charts are always alive with the planetary rhythm. The 5 points, as we know, continue to confirm that for us as we trace it through our lives. Remembering that Venus very much represents what we call... Well, we know she represents beauty, love, the aesthetics, how we tune our world to be around the things we love, to have the things we love around us from relationships, clothes, food, all of that type of thing. It's a readjustment to that, or now that she's coming up to that outer conjunction, it's like we're a delivery to the gods. I like to see it as she's going to the gods, not the under world, at this phase. That she's delivering a message, an idea, a new ideal, perhaps. We think all things Gemini with this transit as well. We put what we love with what Gemini represents. Gemini is very much about sharing, communicating. Perhaps there's something we really need to communicate to somebody with

confirmation, with confidence, with... Sharing our story with somebody will help it go further, as well. Anyway, there's many way that that's going to come through for the individual. Also, depending on what house that will be in for someone. If this conjunction is going to be happening in your first house, you may very much be... First of all, you want to look back at what happened in 2012, back in 2008, back in 2004, and think about what was happening in your life then, and what was significant. Of course, there's going to be other transits that were happening in your chart as well, but what you want to understand is what is your mission now? Where are you heading with it? Again, if it was... Let's say it's in your first house. It's got something to do with confirming the way you look, your image, your self confidence, your vitality about being in the first house. Perhaps you have to change something, adjust something, but more so confirm to yourself that this is how I am now. This is who I am and so forth. If it's happening in the second house, it may very much relate much more to self-love and self-value, so that your strict bear during this transit to really show your authentic self. You can't pretend to love a job. You can't pretend that you love someone. You can't pretend... It's got to be truthful and honest. That's what Venus and the Sun conjunctions, at this particular part of the chart, very much represent. It's quite intense. Although it's not like a retrograde that takes 40 days and 40 nights, it's a leader that has a big builder and is still quite significant for a few weeks after because Venus and the Sun travel very closely together during that time. Venus is moving very, very fast, about double time the speed of the Sun. Therefore, when a planet is moving fast, they're really... As I say, on a mission to deliver something. Have a think about what you're delivering to yourself. It can be your own personal story. It doesn't have to be... For some of us, it can be a project, a plan, some kind of business, delivery, let's say, of... It could be so many things. A book you've written. Anyway, it's different for everybody but nevertheless, it's very important. I've been doing work with clients, with the Venus star, and have found some very revealing sort of connections. When I bring it up for people, they go, "Oh my gosh. That's what happened then." Really, again, ask your listeners to really look back at that cycle and see what was happening there. Was anything brought up for you, Amanda, with this... Yeah. In 2004, I got married. 2008, I had my first daughter. 2012, I was doing... That was the year where we had just moved to the Big Island and I was doing these full moon walks on this labyrinth every month. On the full moon every month, there was this labyrinth that was like right on the ocean. We were doing some really intense work for the collective, you know? Interesting. We would bring in qualities to the labyrinth and then be sending it out to the world.

Yeah. That was really powerful. Yeah, I'm definitely seeing some significant events. Yeah. The more you look into it... One of the big things with when we talk about Venus... Let's say someone isn't married or maybe is a bit older or hasn't had successful relationships in their lifetime. They really want to know when they come and see an astrologist, "When's my love of my life coming? When am I going to hook up with someone? I'm sick of being alone," that type of thing. I do the work about going back to the relationships that they perhaps have had. The times, dates, and all that kind of stuff. When they started, when they finished. It's uncanny in regard to the Venus points and where they happen in a chart. Highlights of life. Again, like you said for yourself, children. Big moves, as well. Really, it seems to be more in the background but the more you look at it, it's very, very telling about what will come out next. What kind of energies are going to be presented for you in this next year? Yeah, it's quite intriguing. I've found that the Venus star point happening, let's say in the 12th house, can really connect soul mates together. 10th house is like public announcements about some kind of awards or [inaudible 00:21:05] or announcements of marriage, that kind of thing. 4th house or 5th house... Sorry, 5th house stuff can have a lot to do with babies. Family, of course. 4th house... So it goes on. It all still connects to the meanings of what place in your chart that will be happening, but the interesting thing is to remember that it will continue cycling in that same area. It moves a little bit backwards every 8 years, so it doesn't move a lot, the Venus points. But they move backwards. If you're like 40 years old, they've moved back about maybe 6 to 8 degrees in your lifetime. If you're a bit older, they might have moved about... If you're 80, they might have moved about 16 degrees through your life in your chart. They do change houses, but let's say if you're a 40 year old. Have a think where 16 Gemini is now. Think like 4 years ago, it was about Sorry, 16 years ago it was about 20 or 22 Gemini. It's moved through that part of your lifetime. I've seen those points cross what we call the descendant for someone. There is times that they've connected with a partner or married, even. That kind of stuff. Yeah, there's a lot more work to do on this, but... What do you call it? I think I'll have to write a book about it one day. Yeah, definitely. Well, it also just makes me think how valuable it is to keep a journal, because... Yes, exactly. We forget. We remember the major things, but it would be really nice to go specifically to summer of 2012, and what I was thinking about and what was actually happening at that time.

Then you'll be really surprised to sort of notice, "Oh my gosh. It's actually happening now again," or it's the next version of it, let's say. Right. Because in 2012, it was the retrograde conjunction. This is a time of review, re-do or whatever. 4 years later, we're looking at it almost like as though we're from the other side. Wow. From the other sort of side of the Sun. We're having a review from the other perspective, from a heavenly perspective. From a more, let's say, enlightened or truer perspective. The retrograde is all about adjusting ourselves to things that happen at this point. The thing we go "ah ha" moments. The things I have to do but that might take us 9 and a half months to change our lives accordingly and so on. Nevertheless, there's something happening. Yes, I very much suggest Venus star diaries. Wow. We can all start in 2016, if we haven't been doing that yet. That can be part of our new year intentions. Yeah. Just to let you know how important... As I started saying at the beginning, the mutable cross of 2016 is probably the biggest highlight of That involves Sagittarius, Jupiter, and the North node in Virgo, and Neptune near the South node in Pisces. In early June, the Sun and Venus connect with the mutable cross exactly. With them being at 16 degrees of Gemini or making that exact conjunction just a few days before, they kick right into fortying degrees of Virgo, fortying... I think it's 12 thirtying degrees of Sagittarius for satin, and 12 degrees, thirtying degrees of Pisces for Neptune. They're really, really playing a really big role in... I'll quickly go through what... Satin and Sagittarius is very much about the vision quest, about the truth that we kind of work towards making our lives... Happen in our lives. Neptune, squaring that, represents keeping the dream alive. Don't give up hope. Don't give up the dream. Collectively, that's what we really have to remember at this time. It's going to be quite an unsettled year because of all this mutable energy, but we really have to keep the faith and the hope. Opposite Neptune is Jupiter. These two being in opposition, it's huge. This is big. Neptune is very strong in Pisces. Jupiter is very expansive wherever it is. But the two of them together... As we know, Jupiter used to rule Pisces before... Well, it still does to most of us because it's a co-ruler with Neptune of Pisces. On the North node, in Virgo, we're really alerted to being, I suppose, visionary... Somehow of service with our visions. We're sharing all the ideas of what the world can be, and that's a really important thing. Putting a lot of faith and hope and trust into the whole picture.

Without that, it will fall apart. That's how important it is. Venus and the Sun come together to really confirm that this is true. This is important. It's about putting out there in the world what we love and what we want to see in this world, as well. It's not about what we've been seeing. There's a lot of work to be done. We can see much progress, can't we, though? At the same time. Oh, yeah. Definitely. Yeah. That's a great message for all of us because we can use the micro cosmo of our own lives and make sure that that's where our focus is. If we're all doing that, then the world will shift. Yeah, exactly. It is. That was what the highlight of 2012 was, was not only was the point made in 2012, but it's what we call... It was the transit of Venus. The transit of Venus only happens... This is when Venus moves in front of the Sun, like as a little black dot. It was kind of televised all over the world. It's like an eclipse, but it's Venus. It's tiny Venus in front of the huge Sun. It's an amazing thing that we've lived through in our times, because it only happens every 108 or 120 years. It did happen in 2004 because these transits happen in pairs, but the big point about what's happening in June is that these transits happened in Gemini. That's because Venus and the Sun conjunct in the Gemini section of the sky, is where the Venus nodes are. By declination, this is where if they were a little bit closer, she could eclipse the Sun, as we say. Although she doesn't because she's a lot smaller, but it's the same principle. That's how important this June point is, for Venus to remind us of what 2012 was all about. We remember that it was that whole year leading up to December. You know it's changing. We have to keep that momentum up. We didn't know what it meant quite as much back then, but now we can really, really see it. If we go back to 2004, the time before Venus did the transit as well... Then she won't do it again until 2100 or something. I can't remember the dates now, but anyway. 100 and so years from now. If we look back to 2004, Venus in Gemini, on a global picture. What happened in 2004? Facebook started. Twitter started not long after. It changed the world as we know. How connected we are all now, how much information is being circulated, it's all... The news is told in a different way. People are awakening. People are much more aware of all sorts of things that have happened in the world. If we look at that period in between 2004 and 2008, we had things like WikiLeak start. We had things like alerting to us to the inconvenient truth of climate change. That all happened in that time, and all the activism that goes with that. That's what Gemini is all about. It's about connecting like-minded people and learning from them and doing more about that. As much as we think we know everything, we don't. That's the opposite sign. That's Sagittarius. Gemini is all about re-learning, re-considering, re-

programming. Get with the program. There's a new program. What is it? That's probably part of why astrology has kind of come up to a bigger audience, let's say, or much more accepting and stuff. People are ready for more information because the truth that has guided us in the past... If I can say back in 1890s was the last transits of Venus, and they were in Sagittarius. They only happened at this point in time on the planet in either the Sagittarius or Gemini. With Sagittarius, it's almost like, "Yeah. We've got the truth. We're going to live it. We're going to go forward. We don't care what anyone thinks." Now we're in what I like to call the age of awareness, that we are so much more aware of what we don't know, what we thought was good for us is no longer, and so on and so on. It is a right sort of awakening and time of awareness for all of us. If we put that into our charts personally and then think of that globally, it's quite a significant point, all leading up to June. Wow. Then the next story begins. Right. Exactly. Well that is so exciting and interesting, Julija. Thank you so much for sharing with us. Hopefully people are able to chart this on their own charts. Yeah. It sounds like a really interesting June that we're going to have. Yeah. It's the lead up to that. What we can expect globally is much more WikiLeaks type of stuff. I know Gemini signs are still locked up, but that information coming out and just raising more awareness to what needs to be done. Perhaps we won't know what we need to do with it, but we really need to stick with the new program or the new paradigm and believe in it. That's for sure. Awesome. Yeah. Awesome. Well, that's a very hopeful message, Julija. Thank you so much. Thanks, Amanda. Yeah. Also, if you want to dive into this deeper, Julija is offering us a video on Venus and Leo, which is where it was last year. That will go into more detail on all of this. Julija, thank you so much for that offer, as well. Yeah. No problem. Yes, it's hard to explain without some diagrams and stuff, so the video's got all the diagrams. You can do your study with that. It's well worth it.

Perfect. Also a reminder to all of you that the recordings from our forecasting summit plus the transcripts and the bonus offers are now available for the early birds pricing.
