Zoomer s Event Kit Catch him if you can! Illustrations Ned Young

MEET ZOOMER IF YOU CAN CATCH HIM! Zoomer is a very busy puppy. He has to blow the world s biggest bubble, build a brontosaurus out of sand, and launch a rocket ship and that s just the beginning! With a big imagination and a love for adventure, Zoomer does everything on his to-do list except get ready for school. Does he know something his brothers don t? Zoomer s creator, Ned Young, is a self-taught painter and illustrator whose playful sense of humor is published on a variety of merchandise, including prints, calendars, puzzles, mugs, and greeting cards. This story about a very busy little dog is his picture book debut. Photo courtesy of Ned s Mom and Dad Illustrations Ned Young

Draw with ZOOMER. One of Zoomer s favorite things to do before school is paint pictures on the wall outside his house. Below is Zoomer s newest blank canvas. Help Zoomer create a beautiful mural by using your imagination and markers to add to the images below!

Zoomer s Memory Game Zoomer seems to have a better memory than the rest of his family. Do you have a good memory? Cut out the cards below, mix them up, and spread them out facedown. With a friend, take turns flipping two cards over, trying to match the pictures. If you are correct, remove the two matching cards. Keep playing until all of the cards have been matched.

Spell with Zoomer. Even though Zoomer isn t getting ready for school, he s always learning things from his adventures. When you move as fast as Zoomer, things can get a little mixed-up! Below are some items Zoomer sees on a regular morning. Fill in the missing letters of each item s name. b eb_ll pl_n_t d fi a l o et
