Submit cost estimate in current year dollars and include 10% for CE *2. Requested year and Estimated Costs may differ from the actual approved by the CSTP/LBR Committee *3. HSIP funds are for constuction phase only. Therefore, the HSIP Cost Estimate is base on 80% of the construction cost dollar amount Describe Existing Roadway Conditions and Existing Crash Problem(s) at Project Location The is currently controlled by a traffic signal and was a 4-way stop until March 2009. The number, type, and severity of crashes has not changed since the installation of the traffic signal. The majority of the crashes (17 of 26) are angle collisions and the remaining ones are rear end collisions. 50% of the crashes at this intersection result in injuries to one or more of the people involved. Describe Proposed Countermeasures to Address the Crash Pattern Construct a modern roundabout at the intersection including lighting and a landscaped center island.
