ZAR OIL BASE WOOD STAIN TINTING FORMULATION MATCHING: ZAR OIL BASE WOOD STAIN COLORS SYSTEM: MOORE-O-MATIC USING 32 INCREMENTS PER FLUID OUNCE EXPLANATION OF NOTATION: The amount of colorant to be added is listed in two columns under the container size. The first column under OZ. lists the number(s) of full fluid ounces of colorant to add. If a zero appears in this column, no full fluid ounces are added, only fractions of a fluid ounce. The second column under the heading 32, lists the number(s) of fractions, 32nds, of a fluid ounce to add. If a zero appears in this column, no fractions are added, only full fluid ounces. If you have any questions on these formulas please contact UGL at 1-800-845-5227 before starting to tint. IMPORTANT: Due to the differences between the pigment used in the ready-mixed colors and those used in tinting systems, minor variations are possible. For this reason, store-tinted colors should NOT be used to complete a job started with ready-mixed colors or vice versa. UGL can only control colors of their own manufacture. Therefore, we CANNOT guarantee that the formulas as indicated will be exact matches. Colors as listed represent our matches to color chips. It is advisable to PRE-DETERMINE the formulas, as being used, will provide the proper color match. UGL cannot assume any responsibility for any changes in shade that may occur.
