How would you like to explore the Big Woods and travel west with Laura Ingalls and her family? You can color in your state and Laura s state on page 1, and keep this map for future workbooks so you can follow Laura west. There will also be word searches, crossword puzzles, vocabulary lessons and even some cutting and gluing as you learn all about the pioneers of Laura s day. At the end of each chapter lesson, you will find Discussion Questions that can be answered verbally or used along with a writing curriculum. Also, use the project ideas to get creative and actually make some of the things Laura had or used.
