Previous History: 8 years in K.O.C as production Chemist overseeing all laboratories procedures 2 years in Kuwait inertial ministry as laboratories chemist. He has Bs. Degree in Chemistry from Kuwait University.

The Importance of laboratories quality Laboratory Quality = Accuracy + Reliability + Timeliness Some inaccuracy is always there in the data generated. Negative consequences of laboratory error. The laboratory is a complex system, involving many steps of activity and many people. The challenge is to reduce the level of inaccuracy. In order to achieve the highest level of accuracy and reliability, its essential to perform all processes and procedures in the laboratory in the best possible way. Quality control system must consider the entire system to achieve good laboratory performance

Laboratories Quality Control System Laboratory quality control system It is an ongoing, comprehensive program which analyzes every aspect of an entire operation; it involves determining a quality goal deciding whether or not the goal has been achieved implementing corrective action if the goal has not been reached The QC system must: Assess the samples are representative. Assess the effectiveness of the lab s policies and procedures Assure the accurate, reliable, and prompt reporting of test results. Identify and correct problems. Assure the adequacy and competency of the staff.

Operational Laboratories Processes There are many procedures and processes that are performed in the laboratory, and each of these must be carried out correctly in order to assure accuracy and reliability of testing.
