ASTROLOGICAL ELECTION HOMEWORK Dr. Loretta Standley, FIAMA www.drstandley.com - I have included 6 chart wheels for November 4, 2008 6:00 AM, 9:00 AM, 12:00 PM, 1:24 PM, 2:13 PM and 8:00 PM. The Moon is Void of Course in Capricorn from 1:47 AM EST until 7:01 PM EST then moves into Aquarius. Check out the 2 nd chart wheel I have included which is for 9:00 AM. If you notice in the blue box on the Daily Horoscopes page the 9:00 AM chart wheel will match every single planet I have listed in that blue box. So the 9:00 AM chart wheel is the same as what is in the blue box. If you look at the 1:24 PM Chart Wheel and compare that to Obamas, then you will see how those planets (transits) will move right over his. Take for instance his Sun in Leo will be right next to (conjunct) the South Node in Leo. If you look at the 2:13 PM Chart Wheel and compare that to McCains, then you will see how those planets (transits) will move right over his. Take for instance his Mars in Leo will be right next to (conjunct) the South Node in Leo. Now find some of these points listed: On November 4, 2008 the South Node will be in Leo at 13 degrees. The South Node is known as the bottomless pit, the drain or the weakest point. Uranus in Pisces opposes Saturn in Virgo at EXACTLY 19 degrees creating a strike from a bolt of lightning. This will be just like flipping over a pancake where everything changes as we know it and civil unrest begins in a whole other arena of civil right. This is the 1 st of 5 lightning strikes over the next 1-1/2 years where Uranus opposes Saturn in an exact degree. On November 4, 2008 the Sun will be in Scorpio at 12 degrees. Barack Obama has his Sun in Leo at 12 degrees, which means his Sun will be 'conjunct' (intensified) by the South Node in Leo. Conjunct means that they are right next to each other or right on top of each other. A conjunction is like conjoined twins, which intensifies. In other words, it's as if his Sun is being pulled down into a bottomless pit. Its interesting how his campaign has been a never-ending bottomless pit of ads. This guy had to have this kind of support in order to get past this Sun conjunct the South Node drain. Well see if it works. Hmmmmm Scorpio and Leo are naturally squaring signs. A square is a very hard challenge.
The Sun will be in Scorpio at 12 degrees and Barack Obama has his Sun in Leo at 12 degrees. This creates a perfect square and quite a challenge. Not to mention the Sun in Scorpio will also square (challenge) the South Node in Leo at 13 degrees. Aaarrrggghhhhhh In Barack Obama's natal chart he has a South Node in Aquarius at 27 degrees. Remember, the South Node is the bottomless pit and is the greatest challenge in a birth date. Sarah Palin has her Sun in Aquarius at 22 degrees, which is close enough to be considered conjunct (intensified). The media has fed into Obama's South Node in Aquarius by focusing on her, which takes away from him. Leo and Aquarius are opposing signs and create a tug of war. Barack Obama is a Leo and Sarah Palin is an Aquarius. Now he has two problems with Sarah Palin. She is his opposing sign and she is his South Node. Joe Biden also has his South Node in Aquarius, which makes Sarah Palin his biggest challenge because she is his South Node too. Joe Biden is a Scorpio and Sarah Palin is an Aquarius. Scorpio and Aquarius are natural squares (challenges) to each other. While Sarah Palin (Aquarius) has her opposing sign in Leo and a square to Scorpio, it is the South Node in Aquarius for Obama and Biden that creates the biggest challenge for the Obama-Biden campaign, not to mention the biggest challenge for her too. Sarah Palin was most definitely the biggest problem they had and they didnt see it coming. Folks, this election is so fun to study if you just sit down with all of this and look at it. Sarah Palin has 5 very strong planets in Aquarius. Her Sun (identity), Moon (emotions), Mercury (communication), Mars (aggression) and Saturn (responsibility). Keep in mind that Saturn is a dual ruler of Aquarius, which is good for her. Sarah Palin's five planets up placed against Obama's South Node Aquarius and Biden's South Node Aquarius is no doubt a big challenge for them. All of those ads on McCain was the best move they could have done and not focus on her but was it enough? John McCain is a Virgo. Saturn (responsibility) is in Virgo until October 2009. Saturn will either kick your rumpelstiltskin or reward you for a job well done. John McCain is certainly in a position to be rewarded after all of his years of service. Virgo is the sign of being 'in service' to others. John McCain has his Mars in Leo at 12 degrees. So his Mars in Leo is also conjunct the South Node in Leo just as Obama's South Node is conjunct Leo at 12 degrees. This will not be an easy election for John McCain to win either. His strength (Mars in Leo) will be pulled down like Obama's Sun in Leo by the South Node in Leo. The South Node in Leo is the drain in the sky right now.
Barack Obama has five planets in Leo and the South Node is currently in Leo... so down down down the tube they go! Remember, the South Node is the bottomless pit. Sarah Palin has five planets in Aquarius and currently the North Node which is 'cup runneth over' is in Aquarius. John McCain has a North Node in Capricorn (cup runneth over) which rules the 10th house of career, military, authority and responsibility. This is the house that Capricorn naturally rules and couldnt possibly be in a better spot! John McCain has a Moon in Aquarius which keeps his emotions somewhat aloof and distant, which also explains why he thinks so highly of Sarah Palin (Aquarius). Barack Obama's has a Moon in Gemini which makes him a great orator and communicator. Lets face it, this guy knows how to talk! Barack Obama's North Node in Leo in his natal chart squares (challenges) his Moon in Gemini which causes him to come across as arrogant, pompous and egotistical. His other 4 planets in Leo don't help either. John McCain and Sarah Palin have balanced nodes. John McCain has a North Node in Capricorn and a South Node in Cancer. Sarah Palin has a North Node in Cancer and a South Node in Capricorn. I've seen astrology blogs where people assume that Sarah Palin should stay home and breast feed kids because she has a North Node in Cancer which rules the home and family. She certainly does have a big home and lots of kids. Shes soooo North Node Cancer. They feel she is moving toward her South Node in Capricorn by seeking a career because Capricorn rules the 10 th house of career but these know-it-all's forget that Cancer rules the "Homeland" for Petes sake! Shes so North Node Cancer! After all, we did have the Department of Homeland Security developed by George W. Bush who is a Cancer. The Department of Homeland Security was going to happen under George Bushs administration anyway. There is nothing on the planet that makes a Cancer feel more secure than having a home. A home gives them security... and there you have it, the Department of Homeland Security. Have fun with this folks. You are going to be fantastic astrologers. I just know it! Now keep your head screwed on straight because once all the conspiracy theorists come out of the woodwork, then you can say, That was astrology!
