Faculty Positions in the Department of Physics at IIT Roorkee The Physics Department, IIT Roorkee, invites applications for the faculty positions for Assistant Professor (regular) and Assistant Professor (on contract) from Indian Nationals (foreign nationals may be appointed on contract for five years) with outstanding track record in research and consistently good record in academic qualifications in the area of Physics/Engineering that matches the research and education focus* of the Department. A candidate if selected is expected to carry out high quality research in their area of choice with primary requirement of teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate level programmes of the Department.
