Lecture: Glacial history and Landforms of New England Soil Parent Materials: Glacial till, bedrock, outwash, lacustrine sediments (lakebed), loess and eolian sediments (windblown sands and silts) alluvial deposits (floodplain), organic deposits, and marine sediments (tidal marshes, beaches, and dunes).
