3 GEOMATICS GEOMATICS AND SURVEYING SERVICES ARE AN ESSENTIAL ELEMENT TO ANY ENGINEERING PROJECT NO MATTER HOW LARGE OR SMALL. WSP IS THE CANADIAN LEADER AND THE PREMIER CHOICE FOR GEOMATICS AND SURVEY SOLUTIONS. FIRST ON THE GROUND, WSP GOES WHERE YOUR PROJECTS ARE BECAUSE SURVEYING IS MORE THAN A JOB IT S A WAY OF LIFE. Part art, part science, part technology, Geomatics and Surveying are constantly evolving. From the very first structures, early surveyors used primitive instruments and simple geometry to perform layouts and measurements. Today, a complex network of satellites and computers allows Geomatics professionals to achieve unprecedentedly accurate measurements. We at WSP understand our roots, and for over 35 years we too continue to evolve and advance. More importantly, our trained professionals balance the very best in tradition and technology in order to deliver reliable results and maximize value for our clients. WSP is proud to be the largest survey provider in Canada, with over 1,000 Geomatics professionals, including more than 250 field crews working from 24 office locations coast-to-coast. Our strong project teams and proven track record, coupled with our commitment to safety, means that our clients can have full confidence that their projects will be completed safely, on time, on budget, and be delivered as a quality product. From municipal development, to industrial construction and to Oil & Gas specific projects, we work in all sectors and at all stages of the job. Knowledge is power, and having access to project-critical data from the office at all times means efficient communication and project management as well as minimizing errors and timeline overruns. A unique part of WSP s approach to surveying includes the development and use of custom GIS tools and applications that allow this level of project knowledge. Using the best in survey technology and having access to awardwinning GIS developers, no job is too large or complex for our team. Safety is a big part of who we are. We have an award winning safety program ingrained in our culture, encompassing management, to junior staff and from office support to field operations. Our track record proves that we are committed to maintaining safety management in our busy work environments.

6 OUR PROJECT EXPERIENCE WSP DELIVERS GEOMATICS AND SURVEYING SOLUTIONS TO SOME OF THE LARGEST PROJECTS IN CANADA AND THE WORLD. WE ARE PROUD TO HAVE PREMIER REPUTATION AND LONG RELATIONSHIPS WITH CLIENTS. 01 02 01 TRANSCANADA PIPELINES MULTIPLE LARGE DIAMETER PIPELINE PROJECTS WSP has worked with TransCanada on new projects and existing infrastructure in its vast network. From providing scouting and preliminary design mapping in the remote regions of Northern BC, to ground profiles at water crossings for integrity management, WSP has the proven flexibility, expertise and safety record to work on all projects in the midstream industry. 02 K+S - LEGACY MINE WSP provides construction surveying services for the construction of this $4.1B greenfield solution potash mine. Breaking ground in 2012, WSP was on site with the early earthworks for the main site and the camp site, and carrying on to all the piling (approx.2600 piles), foundations, underground facilities, well pads and ponds. 03 DEFENCE CONSTRUCTION CANADA HELICOPTER SQUADRON HANGER WSP was selected as the surveyor for the construction of a $104M helicopter squadron hangar. Services ranged from the detailed survey of existing ground conditions prior to excavation during the design development stage, field surveying for the volume calculations of excavated material and to the final as-built of the apron grading. Precision was a key component on this project, as high precision equipment was used in settlement monitoring and pile layout confirmation during construction.

7 GEOMATICS 03 04 04 AERO SPACE MUSEUM OF CALGARY DC-3 AIRPLANE WSP utilized laser scanning services in assisting museum staff to better understand the restoration and working history of an iconic aircraft, the Douglas DC-3. The scan resolution was so detailed that the museum staff could see rippled and distorted panels under the nose of the aircraft and along the top of the fuselage. This technology was also applied to the other aircraft in the collection. In addition to the data being utilized for restoration efforts, it will be used to create an interactive fly through. This project was a finalist for the David Thompson Award for Innovation in Geomatics.
