Practical Skills and Training Experience:-- - Radiation induced preparation and development of glasses, ceramic and polymeric materials with unique properties, as well as the development of many conventional of these materials for various industrial applications. - Using either gamma radiation or conventional method in the preparation of glasses/ metals, polymer/ ceramic wastes composite and inorganic polymer/ nanocomposite. - Analysis, modification and characterization of glasses/ metals and polymer/ ceramic wastes composite and inorganic polymer/ nanocomposite using the following technique: - FTIR spectroscopy (FTIR) - X- ray diffraction (XRD) X- ray fluorescence (XRF) - electron diffraction X-ray (EDX) - Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) - Transmission electron microscopy (TEM) Electron spin resonance(esr)- Mechanical tests (tensile strength - compressive strength bending strength Impact resistance... etc.)-ultrasonic measurements (Longitudinal modulus, Shear modulus, Bulk modulus, Young's modulus,poisson's ratio)- Thermal gravimetric analysis (TGA) - Differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) differential thermal analysis (DTA). Gamma Spectrometric Techniques (Gamma Spectrometric Analysis for High Level & Low Level )and their applications (calculation of The natural radioactivity levels for NORMS,activity concentrations, Absorbed Gamma Dose Rate, The Annual Effective Dose, Radium equivalent activity, Activity Indices, Excess Lifetime Cancer Risk) UV measurements ( absorbance, reflectance, transmittance) and applications electrical measurements (AC,DC) and applications and applying different models.
