Practical Skills and Training Experience:-- - Radiation induced preparation and development of glasses, ceramic and polymeric materials with unique properties, as well as the development of many conventional of these materials for various industrial applications. - Using either gamma radiation or conventional method in the preparation of glasses/ metals, polymer/ ceramic wastes composite and inorganic polymer/ nanocomposite. - Analysis, modification and characterization of glasses/ metals and polymer/ ceramic wastes composite and inorganic polymer/ nanocomposite using the following technique: - FTIR spectroscopy (FTIR) - X- ray diffraction (XRD) X- ray fluorescence (XRF) - electron diffraction X-ray (EDX) - Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) - Transmission electron microscopy (TEM) Electron spin resonance(esr)- Mechanical tests (tensile strength - compressive strength bending strength Impact resistance... etc.)-ultrasonic measurements (Longitudinal modulus, Shear modulus, Bulk modulus, Young's modulus,poisson's ratio)- Thermal gravimetric analysis (TGA) - Differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) differential thermal analysis (DTA).
