The settlers from England had gained a foothold in the verdant land called "Amerika". Old traditions would be laid aside, new ones instituted. Greed, jealousy, suspicion would still persist. Were these at the root of "The Salem Witch Trials"? Innocent residents of Salem, Massachusetts were tried and many executed in perhaps the most infamous chapter in early American history. Dinners begin at 5:00 p.m. and the program begins at 6:00 p.m. at the Neville Public Museum. The cost per program is: $20/ for each Neville Member $25/ for each Non-member

Explorer Saturday: Monowheel and Bicycles Saturday, October 1 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. After travelling to Madison and Appleton, the museum's monowheel is returning home to the Neville. Visit this rare early mode of transportation, and build a project that looks much more similar to your modern-day bicycle. Participate in Explorer Saturdays activities at no extra charge with your regular museum admission from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. To learn more call (920) 448-7840. Hardcore History: Astrophotography Tuesday, October 11 6:00 p.m. Astrophotographer Rodrigo Roesch will discuss how to use common DSLR cameras to take photographs of the night sky. Rodrigo will share the techniques he has used to capture many different types of images using examples of his amazing work. You can see some of these images in our exhibit, Eyes on the Sky. Program is free with suggested $3 donation and is open to the public. Museum Star Party Friday, October 14 6:00-9:00 p.m. Join members of the Neville Public Museum's Astronomical Society as we gaze into the night sky. The Society will provide telescopes and other equipment used to study celestial bodies, and will help viewers of all ages identify stars, planets, and other far-away worlds that we can view from right here in the heart of Green Bay.

Where: Neville Public Museum, 210 Museum Place, Green Bay, WI 54303 Cost: Program is free to the public. * Dates may be subject to change based on overcast skies.
