The adjustment wuld be pssible nly if the States/UTs submit infrmatin n the unspent balance immediately after the clsing f financial year. The same is still awaited. 2. Since the cmpilatin f infrmatin n unspent balance is a time cnsuming prcess because infrmatin is t be cllected frm the field units and cmpiled thereafter at State level. Therefre, keeping in view the practical difficulties f the State Gvernments, this Department has been releasing the 1st installment f admissible recurring Central Assistance t the States/UTs in tw installments i.e. 25% adhc release is made withut asking fr the infrmatin n unspent balance frm the previus year and the balance 35% f the first installment, is released after receiving infrmatin n the cmpnent wise unspent balance f the previus year. This Department had already released 25% adhc grant t all States/UTs during the secnd frtnight f April, 213 withut waiting fr the unspent balance psitin against recurring Central Assistance during 21213. The balance 35% f 1 st installment's recurring Central Assistance is t be released n receipt f infrmatin n the cmpnent wise unspent balance lying with the State Gvernments/UTs as n 1 st April, 213. The States Gvernment are therefre, requested t submit the cmpnent wise infrmatin n the unspent balance as n 1.4.213 frm last year's central assistance in the enclsed prfrma (AnnexureI) by 24th June, 213 psitively. Similarly unspent balance f the fd grains lying with the State Gvernments may als be submitted in the prfrma (AnnexureI!) by the same date.
