We need to ensure natural surveillance into station and a true connection to the city. These ideas seem counter to grade separation. The downtown sketches are compelling. Scale, massing & architectural cues feel good/appropriate. The ramp and its execution will be all about the details management & ownership, construction materials & architectural detailing, placemaking integration with the existing downtown. It will feel like a failure if the execution is missed regardless of the presence of LRT or the parking stalls to support ridership. I look forward to the addition of LRT and opportunities to work with the community to pull these components together. 002 If 39 ½ is closed at the RR tracks please make bicycle accommodations on 41 st Ave & Noble. 003 We have lived @ 5003-42 ½ Ave N for 14 years. Many (over half) of our neighbors have lived there as long or longer. Some of our concerns: noise level of LRT, increased traffic on 42 nd -it s already a challenge to turn left on 42 nd, if Railroad track moves even closer to our homes, what impact will it have on our aging foundations? Crossing arms on 42 nd? Quiet zone? Would city consider buying our home? Concerned resale value will plummet w/ LRT in my backyard. Thank you for the information tonight. 004 1. No objection at all to closing the crossing at 39 ½ 2. I love the vision for the garage w/ retail + Transforming 41 ½ into a promenade + Keeping the Hubbard transit center 3. Keep the station at street level don t sink it or put it underground. Thanks for all your work! 005 Hoping LR tracks will stay at grade. People entering/exiting cars have easier access to businesses, etc. Page 1

006 -Hate 39 ½ closing. I travel access it several times daily & don t have the time to travel through Robbinsdale to get where I need to be. -I live right on Lee Ave on the Rail Road and the noise really is going to bug me since I m a stay at home mom. I moved from Nokomis because I couldn t stand the light rail there. -Walk Mary Hill and Siochi and really concerned how that s going to effected. 007 Can it be built NOW. Great little impact on residential properties. Great access. Finally 24 hr transit for Robbinsdale. 008 I would like to see the LRT stay above ground at the station. 009 I really like the idea of a lowered station in Downtown. You should also lower the grade at 41 st and eliminate all but one crossing in Robbinsdale. 010 Have a designated biking/walking area similar to the green way in and across Uptown. 011 Answer to tonight s issues/questions Quiet Zone? Yes 39 ½ crossing close? Yes 42 nd Crossing at grade or below grade? Below grade If we re shutting off 39 th ½ and 41 st will have gates, 42 nd should be a below grade crossing to ease vehicle traffic. Gates down for 1 min 12 times per hour will stop traffic very close to downtown Robbinsdale 20% of the time. 42 nd is a busy crossing and should be below grade to ease traffic congestion. I m sure this would increase costs slightly, but I m willing to pay those taxes. I m in favor of the Blue Line Ext and I wish you all good luck & full steam ahead! 012 I would like to see better traffic flow between Penn & Dowling to Downtown Robbinsdale. Current bus routes go way north or way south in order to travel from east (north Minneapolis) to west (Robbinsdale). I live in north mpls, work downtown, and shop in Robbinsdale. Page 2

013 Please make plenty of bike & moped & motorcycle parking in the design. Also public areas for Smartcar, etc. plan 014 Don t want to see the train (LRT) go underground at 42 nd. Would create security issues, especially at night. Otherwise it all looks good! Good job! 015 SB RR Ave onto WB or EB 42 nd is a difficult move and needs to be evaluated 016 Make the traffic stop before Railroad Ave to allow parallel traffic to move more easily Page 3

017 If 39 th ½ is closed, please make bicycle accommodations on 41 st Ave to Noble. 018 Better option perceived safety of LRT uses Page 4

019 If 39 ½ closes concern is it routes people to use Lee Avenue as main rd to 36 th Ave and it has a very dicey curve just before 38 th. 020 Connect these 2 potential parcels/bldgs Page 5

021 Add retail on corner here 022 If 39 ½ is closed, make it easier to get onto the main roads (Noble & 42 nd ) from the side roads Page 6

023 Like Grade Sep. Station. Keep under Noble crossing 024 I m supportive of closing the 39 ½ st crossing to mitigate noise & traffic thru our area. 025 Please close 39 1/2 street going across the tracks. It's bad enough that a train will go by so close to our homes every seven minutes during rush hour but to have that crossing ding so often would be horrific. If the street were closed and a large wooden wall barricade was erected it might at least be tolerable. Thank you. Page 7
