What is a degradation We understand the degradation (of land) as the loss / reduction of utility / function and as a consequence of different human activities (industry, urban growth, agricultural, mining, legislative changes, demographic changes, administrative causes etc.). efinition marginal according to its function The issue of proper terminology; marginal areas, brownfield sites, derelict areas, degraded land etc. Inter-sectorial approach is missing; responsibility, development and implementation of effective legislation

122 Stanovanjski blok Radlje ob Dravi Gradbeno podjetje Radlje je pričelo z gradnjo stanovanjskega bloka, prišli so do temeljne plošče in je šlo podjetje v stečaj (2014). Od takrat gradbišče stoji.

124 Stanovanjska soseska Zg. Kungota Gradnja je bila končana leta 2008, do leta 2012 so se še izvajala manjša dela. Prodali so 3 vrstne hiše, ki so naseljene, ostalo stoji prazno. MRS d.o.o. in THS Trgovsko proizvodno in storitveno podjetje, ki so lastniki parcel in graditelji vrstnih hiš.

Dilemmas to solve On the methodological field; definitions, typology... Solving the problem of degraded areas in Spatial law; The problem of rehabilitation!! Preparation of priority list for the rehabilitation DA, financing options... Users (municipalities, investors) need clear guidelines for the potential uses and conditions of use in relation to the types of degraded areas. Directing development projects in DA - a national strategic objective is to protect fertile agricultural land (redirect investors in degraded areas); Ownership of degraded areas limits their development activation...
