Hail Warning, takes the frm f alert and characterisatin bulletins sent by email and the Hail-Frecast HD nline tl dedicated t frecasting and mnitring hail falls acrss all Eurpean cuntries. A 72-hur frecasting mdule, "Hail- Frecast" prviding frecasts n a small scale and fr up t 72 hurs in ne-hur increments. The frecasts include all vilent cnvective phenmena (hail falls, strms, trnades and strm supercells). Datas are updated every 6 hurs. A real-time bservatin mdule, "Hail-Frecast OBS" uses a specially develped algrithm that is able t characterise the type f precipitatin n the grund (rain, sustained rain, heavy rain, light hail, heavy hale, severe hail). The radar images are refreshed every 5 minutes. 9
