SUMMARY AND INTRODUCTION During the summer and fall of 1995 a diamond drill program was initiated within the Fowler 2 claim group. Three holes, totalling 952.8 metres of drilling, was completed during the period. Specifically, the drill program focused on testing the property for Hemlo style alteration associated with Musher Lake Porphyry. Holes F2-95-1 and F2-95-3 intersected moderate to strong sericitic/feldspathic alteration, although no significant gold assay values were returned for the interval. F2-95-2 intersected segmented portions of the of Musher Lake Porphyry, suggesting that the unit is close to a termination. In addition, hole F2-96-2 intersected a minor quartz-molybdenite vein which returned a gold assay value of 1599ppb. Although this value is anomalous, the lack of alteration and narrow width of the intersection suggests that the interval is of limited importance. Due to the lack of significant gold values associated with alteration from the Musher Lake Porphyry, no future exploration investigation is recommended at this time. 2.0 LOCATION AND ACCESS (Figure 1) The Fowler 2 property consists of 2 contiguous claim blocks situated 0.5 km west of Theresa Lake, and 2.5 km north of Wabikoba Lake. Primary access by two wheel drive vehicles is provided by 614 highway and the Twist Lake timber road, the latter passes within 1.2 km of the claims. Further access to the claims may be gained by four wheel drive vehicles via the Wabikoba Lake/Theresa dam road.

Fowler, M. Shuman, and K. Sperte. On March 7,1996, the Fowler 2 claims were amalgamated with the Fowler 1 claims to form the Fowler option. 4.0 PREVIOUS WORK The following is a summary of previous work conducted on or near the Fowler 2 property: Mclntyre-Porcupine Mines, Von Klien option, 1962 Numerous copper-nickel and copper-lead-zinc occurrences were discovered. Electromagnetic conductors and magnetic anomalies were tested with 28 diamond drill holes, but mineralization was weak and discontinuous with depth. Noranda Exploration Co. Ltd, 1976 Dotted Lake airborne survey completed over the area. Pryme Energy (North), 1982 Work concentrated on the Mcintyre occurrence. Oued Resources, 1983 Geological mapping, trenching and drilling was completed on a claim group to the north of the Fowler 2 property. Emphasis was on stratabound gold mineralization within iron rich interflow sedimentary sequences. Drilling returned values of up to 0.025 oz/ton over 3 metres. Norman Resources Limited, 1983 Geological mapping, soil geochemistry, airborne magnetics and VLF-EM data were collected covering an area immediately southeast of the present claim block. Soil samples were all low range with one sample returning 45 ppb. No significant near surface concentration of precious metals were discovered.

Kelly-Kerr Energy Corp., 1986-1988 Geological mapping, stripping, soil geochemistry covered an area to the east of the present claim group. Noranda Exploration Company, 1986 (Tylox Resources Corporation Option) Drilling of 535.3 metres of core near Theresa Lake. The propose of the program was to test conductive zones found by an earlier IP. survey. Report includes cross sections, drill loges and Au assays. Noranda Exploration Co. Ltd, Newjay Property, 1987-1989 Humus geochemistry and geology filed covering a portion of the adjacent North Limb claim group. No anomalous Au values were found in the 23 rock samples analysed. A weak Au humus anomaly is reported to overlie a felsic-mafic contact. Noranda Exploration Co. Ltd, Norman Resources Property, 1989 Geological report, plans, soil/rock geochemistry and assays filed for a claim block located south-east of the present property. Several anomalous Au values were recorded from the soil survey samples but results were not considered encouraging. Fowler/Shuman, Armand Lake Property, 1991 A report was competed covering prospecting and stripping on the Fowler 1 property. Newmont Exploration of Canada Ltd., 1992 Geological and lithogeochemical reports for a claim group located south-east of the present claims. Hemlo Gold Mines Inc., 1994 Trenching and geological mapping was completed on trenches 150E, 153E, and 156E on the Fowler 142 property. Hemlo Gold Mines Inc., 1995 Drilling of three stratigraphic holes on the North Limb Property. Moderate to strong sericite alteration was reported associated with the Musher Lake and Armand Lake Porphyry. Returned gold values were less than tooppb. Hemlo Gold Mines Inc., 1995 Drilling of 9 Holes on the Fowler 1 Property testing the alteration extent around the Musher Lake Porphyry, Armand Lake Porphyry, and a feldspathic zone adjacent to the Lunny Lake Porphyry.

Collected data included gold assays, whole rock chemistry, and trace element chemistry. Anomalous gold values were reported associate with sedimentary stratigraphy proximal to the feldspathic zone. 5.0 REGIONAL GEOLOGY The Fowler 2 property is located within the North Limb region of the Archean Schreiber-Hemlo greenstone belt that forms part of the Abitibi-Wawa-Shebandowan Subprovince of the Superior Province. Supracrustal rocks of the Hemlo greenstone belt consist principally of basaltic flows and subordinate tuffs, with a central core of epiclastic arkosic wacke and siltstone. These rocks are bounded to the north by the Black-Pic Batholith and to the south by the Pukaskwa Gneissic complex. Interbeds of felsic volcanic tuffs and/or volcaniclastic sediments occur locally. Numerous small elongate quartz-feldspar porphyry (QFP) stocks intrude the sequence. Equigranular to porphyritic dikes and sills intrude the volcanics, sediments, and small QFP stocks. In the Heron Bay area, Muir (1982 a,b) tentatively subdivided the greenstone belt into two groups: 1) the southern Playter Harbour Group comprising tholeiitic mafic flows and a northern Heron Bay Group comprising mainly dacitic and rhyolitic calc-alkaline rocks. This calc-alkaline sequence was interpreted by Muir (1982b, 1983) to represent a volcanic center. Williams et al. (1991) have proposed an additional subdivision which would place rocks occurring north of the Hemlo Fault in to a new assemblage termed the Hemlo-Black River. More work is required to verify whether this subdivision is warranted. The rocks of the Hemlo- Heron Bay greenstone belt have been interpreted to have been deformed into a broad, east trending, doubly - plunging synform (Brown et al.,1985). In the vicinity of the Hemlo mine complex, which is located on the southern limb, Muir et al (1988) have identified at least four generations of structures that have been produced by at least two periods of deformation. The intensity of deformation within the belt is variable. In general terms, deformation is stronger in the southern limb of the synform and in particular, in the vicinity of the lake Superior Shear Zone, than in the central core and the northern limb of the synform. This holds true in most regions of the Hemlo area with the exception of the pluton and batholith margins. Rocks located in close proximity to the margins of these intrusives are generally isoclinally folded and sheared. Metamorphic grade ranges from greenschist facies in the southwestern portion of the belt to amphibolite facies in the eastern section of the belt. Local variations occur near the margins of the granitoid batholiths.

Swarms of Proterozoic dykes of varying compositions including diabase, lamprophyre intrude the volcano-sedimentary package as well as the intrusive suites (Muir et. Al.,1995). These dykes have orientations of either NW-SE or N-S in the Hemlo area. 6.0 DIAMOND DRILLING RESULTS (Figure 3) The 1995 diamond drilling results on the Fowler 2 claims is summarised in the following table. A total of 390 sections of core were split and assayed for Au. Elevated gold values were returned from hole F2-95-2. TABLE 1. DIAMOND DRILL HOLE SUMMARY Hole # Easting Northing Azim. melin. Hole F2-95-1 and F2-95-3 intersected moderately to strongly altered quartzfeldspar porphyry. Alteration was sericitic to weakly feldspathic, with well developed quartz eyes and minor green mica. Hole F2-95-3 terminated in an ultra mafic lithology. No significant gold assays were returned from these holes. F1-95-2 intersected only segmented portions of the Musher Lake Porphyry, suggesting that the unit is becoming narrow and fragmented. A dioritic unit (16 to 162.3 metres) from the hole contained numerous quartz veinlets with significant molybdenite mineralization. The interval returned an assay value of 1599 ppb.

8.0 CONCLUSION AND RECOMMENDATIONS This diamond drill program was initiated in order to test the extent of the alteration associated with the Musher Lake Porphyry. Holes F2-95-1 and F2-95-3 both intersected moderate to strongly altered quartz-feldspar porphyry. Hole F2-95-2 intersected segmented sections of the Musher Lake Porphyry, suggesting that the unit has become fragmented, and is close to a termination. No significant gold values were returned from alteration associated with the Musher Lake Porphyry. A significant gold value was returned from minor molybdenite-quartz veins in hole F2-95-2. Although this value is considerably higher than background, the lack of significant alteration and the narrow width of the interval suggests that the intersection is of limited importance. Due to the lack of significant gold values associated with alteration associated with the Musher Lake Porphyry, no future exploration investigation is recommended for the Fowler 2 property at this time.
