There is a lot of excitement with all of these ladies. Please make an effort to come to Ultreya so that you can meet our new Babe Chicks who are living their Fourth Day. An Ultreya schedule is at the bottom of this page. I encourage you to come to our annual Day of Reflection, which will be held on Saturday, April 21, 2018 at St. Rose church in Girard. This year s theme is The Monday Connection: The Call to Discipleship and Evangelization. Guest speakers include Father Christopher Cicero and Keith Corso. Page 3 For the Cursillo Day of Reflection The Cursillo community of the Diocese of Youngstown invites you to our annual Day of Reflection, to be held on Saturday, April 21, 2018. This event is open to everyone (you don t need to be a Cursillista). This year s theme is: The Monday Connection: The Call to Discipleship and Evangelization. The retreat will be held in Rosetta Hall at St. Rose Parish, 48 E. Main St, Girard, OH. The day begins with registration at 8:30 am and ends at 3:00pm. A continental breakfast and lunch are included. It takes place September 20-23, 2018 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Basilica at 343 Via Mount Carmel Avenue in Youngstown. The Secretariat will be discerning a team on May 21st. If you are interested in working on this Men s team, please get your application in as soon as possible. For your convenience, a copy of the Application to work a team has been included in this newsletter. You ll find it on the next page (5). Please give your completed application to Rosie Hollen or to any Secretariat member. They are listed on the front page of this newsletter. IMPORTANT: The formation schedule for this Men s team can be found on page 6 of this newsletter. The next Women s Cursillo weekend (#63) will also take place at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Basilica in Downtown Youngtown. The dates are being firmed up for a weekend in January, 2019. More info will follow in the next newsletter. As always... Speak to God about your candidate before you speak to your candidate about God. Share with your candidate about Group Reunion and Ultreya. Invite your candidate to come to either or both. Then help them complete their application to attend a weekend, and turn it in as soon as you can. O U R A N N U A L P I C N I C I S S E T F O R A U G U S T 1 5 T H, 2 0 1 8 Cursillo Picnic Our Annual Cursillo Picnic is scheduled for August 15th which is also the Feast of the Assumption. It is scheduled at Mauthee Park in Struthers, Ohio. We ll keep you informed by the newsletter closer to the event. Mass will begin at 6:00 pm Bring your own picnic lunch and the team will provide corn on the cob and cold drinks. There is a nice playground in the park for the little ones to enjoy. Come and join us for our annual picnic on August 15th and have some fun!
