He qualified UGC (JRF) in Geography. Dr. Usmani Joined this Department as Associate Professor in June, 2016. He has supervised five Ph.D. theses. To his credit there are two research Projects, three books and more than seventeen research papers in different reputed journals of India. His major fields of research interest are Rural Development, Regional Development and Agricultural Geography. He has supervised five Ph.D. theses and has presented eleven research papers in various national and international conferences.
