Reedemed by Her Dragon by Magalys Alfonso - Synopsis Elení is an exotic young woman leading a fairly normal life, or so she thinks, until a portal in her library opens and a monster leaps out, bringing her into a magical world, as his prisoner and intended mate. The monster is Diavol, a Drákon that lost his soul when centuries earlier he killed his own people. He had been the hand the evil High Priestess of Glazură had used to attempt to enslave Vasili, rightful heir to the Drákon throne. Having failed, their fate now depends on Elení. Elfin Prophesy states Elení s offspring will restore the Drákon to glory and doom the High Priestess to death, her people scattered, nomads in their own land. Vasili, exiled King of the Drákon, shape-shifting dragons and rightful rulers of Cináed, awakens to Elení s distressed spirit call as she summons him out of his self-imposed exile. Revenge for her insolence propels Vasili to find her. His anger intensifies when he faces his twin brother and discovers he is the murderer of his people, the reason he exiled himself for two centuries, and the captor of the one he seeks. They battle and Vasili is wounded. Unknowingly, Elení s spirit floods his body, healing him physically and lifting the
Redeemed by Her Dragon: 2 Book One in The Drákon of Cináed Series Synopsis darkness from his soul. He realizes she is his true mate, and his soul s redeemer. The monster flees, taking Elení with him. Vasili gruesomely kills the Diavol from afar through her eyes. Both physical and mental strength depleted, Elení faints. She awakens to a gorgeous and naked Vasili, whom she had originally thought a figment of her imagination. She discovers she is also naked and that he has taken appalling liberties with her body. Vasili does not understand her reaction to her nakedness but tries to comfort her regardless. She is grateful, but in emotional turmoil, and asks him for space and time. Time, he is willing to concede, space not so much. He tells her she is Drákon, however thinks it wise not to disclose they are true mates at the time. She refuses to believe she is anything but human. They travel towards the safety of Drákon land, and Elení is haunted by nightmares. Every night, unbeknownst to Elení, Vasili lays with her and soothes her when the nightmare overcomes her. Every morning he leaves before she awakens, painfully aroused and sleepdeprived. Elení discovers what he has been sacrificing for her benefit each night. Intimacy is born between them. Vasili asks Elení to partake in the Drákon ritual that will weave Trust, the first of four threads of the soul-bond. He explains that he wants to honor her body and to gift her a
special token. He talks about his people and what the ritual means to the Drákon, and that it is in no way binding. He explains the Drákon soul-bond and the mate-bond. Elení still believes herself human, and Vasili has not told her she is his mate, thus she accepts without reservation. Intimacy deepens between them. The first thread of the soul-bond is woven. The Elfin King and High Counselor have the gift of Vision. They see the High Priestess, the mastermind behind the Drákon s demise, kill Eleni s nana; Elfin warrior that saved Elení from death as a young girl and raised her on Earth. The Counselor travels to warn Vasili and Elení that the High Priestess is on her way, intent on killing Elení and enslaving Vasili. He unveils buried memories in Elení s subconscious and Elení finally sees herself as the Drákon Princess she is, learns Vasili is her true mate, and for the first time unleashes her Dragon, in anger at her nana s death. Vasili s Dragon fights Eleni s, subdues her, and forbids her revenge. Elení is furious with Vasili for stopping her, for his display of male dominance, and mostly for knowing they are true mates and keeping it from her, thinking that he tricked her into the ritual that wove the first thread of their soul-bond. The two remain distant. Vasili knows he must share the mistakes that lead to his exile with her so that she
Redeemed by Her Dragon: 4 Book One in The Drákon of Cináed Series Synopsis will understand why he subdued her Dragon but fears she will utterly reject him. His need to claim her as his mate wins over his fears. The second and third threads of the soul-bond are woven as Elení accepts Vasili s past, comes to respect him for his sacrifice and resilience in the face of great tragedy and admits she is certain he did not trick her into the ritual but rather followed his Drákon instinct to ensure her safety. Now that the anger is assuaged, Elení has no choice but to acknowledge to herself that she has fallen in love with Vasili. Knowing that his feelings for her stem from Drákon duty to his mate, not love, she knows she must leave him and return to Earth, even if their souls fragment because of it. The High Priestess Drákon slave attacks Elení, but Elení s healing magic breaks the blood-bond that enslaves him, restoring the purity of his Drákon blood. He shares the High Priestess plan with them and they prepare to confront her. The High Priestess seduces Vasili with dark magic, the illusion she weaves stronger than anticipated and impossible to defeat. Elení s soul cries out to his but he is beyond her reach. She tells him she loves him and he is finally able to break the witchery. The fourth and last thread, Loyalty, is woven. Vasili attacks the High Priestess but she survives and seizes Elení, not aware that Elení has found her Dragon. Elení
summons her Dragon and tortures her, taking revenge for the atrocities she inflicted on her people. She leaves Vasili to kill the High Priestess and escapes to Elfin Woods to ask the Elves to open a portal back to Earth. She arrives at the gate to Elfin Woods and collapses. Her Dragon recoils from her in anger that she would desert Vasili. Elení speaks her feelings for Vasili, her weaknesses, trying to make the dragon understand, and ease the pain in her own heart at leaving him. The gate to Elfin Woods opens and Vasili steps out. He has heard every tortured word in Elení s confession. He is in love with her and regardless of Drákon law and duty, he would always choose her. He offers to let her go if she so desires. She chooses him. They leave Elfin Woods, looking for privacy to consummate their love and fulfill the mate-bond. In the epilogue, written by Elení seven years later, she has embraced her Drákon heritage, shares information about her life with Vasili, and clarifies Drákon peculiarities most humans would not easily understand. Dana: This synopsis was a bit hard to follow. I would suggest using as few made-up names and terms as possible they may be familiar to you, but they are not to an outside reader. Also, the hero taking liberties with the heroine s naked body is NOT acceptable behavior nor an effective or believable device to develop attraction between the hero and heroine. Three things need to be expressed clearly and concisely to the
