There is a non-linear relationship between a person s age and the wage they are earning. There is a positive relationship between the two variables (b = 0.91) as a person s age increases, so does their age. There is a strong relationship (or connection) between the two variables (r = 0.94). From the residual plot, a pattern exists which indicates the data has not been fitted appropriately by the linear regression line and a transformation is required.
