Nebagamon Lodge 312 WWW.NEBAGAMON.ORG Quarterly Newsletter, issue 1, vol 62 About the Editor Hello my name is Travis Flesher and I am the editor for the Nebagamon newsletter. I am a Life scout and I have completed Brotherhood in the Order of the Arrow. I plan great things for the upcoming newsletters and hope to make the newsletter fun! Special points of interest: 2012 OA Lodge Banquet The OA Awards The OA Banquet is where people from all around the lodge and get together and have dinner and get awards for what they have done in that past year. Many people got together and had a lot of fun with the food and the awards. Some people got embarrassed at some points during the slideshow made by Travis Flesher (Chuck Marzka). Our MC Nicolas Alvar has done very well at this banquet. Amazingly there was a lot more food than last year. So you tummy's are full now. Local sources say that people did not go hungry this year, aka EVERYONE. -Travis Flesher 12 OA Lodge Banquet LLD went Great! Have an article? Send it in! More info on last page. N e b a g a m o n 3 1 2 Order Of The Arrow LLDc We all had fun at Kimball Scout Reservation for the Nebagamon OA LLDC and we were trained on leadership skills, had great food, enjoyed awesome team building games, Watched movies that exemplified leadership, and even participated in Indian dances. The LLDC was required for all lodge leadership to attend but anyone who wishes to gain leadership skills and knowledge can attend. The dances that was taught by Alex Godwin and Brice Walters was a really fun and exciting. It was fun and a learning experience of the Indian culture of dancing. Many of participants dancing had a lot of fun. The movie that we watched Friday night was Star Trek Ne-Swag-A-Mon The word Neswagamon came from a conclave 1 year ago when Nebagamon didn t want to the chant Nebagamon 312 so we added Neswagamon It s What we do! and we were really amused by everyone on how they reacted to the new chant. Conclave 2012 is going to be here so if you want to go and make Great memories come on down a participate in the best Conclave in 1 Year!!! See your lodge and ask for the sign up sheet! -Travis Flesher
