Detour West Gold Project Technical Overview April, 2018
Detour West Project Overview Detour West is a 7,680 hectare property located at the northwest margin of the Abitibi Greenstone Belt, 20 km west of the Detour Lake Gold Mine The DW area has not been mapped due to lack of outcrop Other than a limited program conducted by Dome Mines in the early 1980 s, the DW area has never been explored Conventional thinking would have the DW area underlain by granites and/or gneisses Examination of all available geological & geophysical data indicates that the Abitibi Greenstone Belt underlies a much larger area than previously recognized & extends westward across the DW property to the Kapuskasing structure The Detour Lake Gold Mine at 16.4 million ounce reserve, Lower Detour discovery and exploration successes eastward in Quebec make Detour West an attractive exploration prospect Tri Origin has identified the important volcano-sedimentary terrain boundaries & structures at DW that are associated with Au deposits to the east An exploration program has been designed to locate new multi-million ounce gold deposits in this virgin segment of the Abitibi

Rich Metal Endowment Detour West Property The northwest Abitibi hosts a significant metal endowment in two regional trends- Matagami to Detour and Joutel to Casa Berardi
Exploration Overview Activity in Ontario- nil outside of Detour Gold Claims Tri Origin claims Detour Gold Corporation claims The lack of exploration in Ontario is due to the misconception that the Detour Gold property covers all of the Detour Lake Greenstone Belt on the Ontario side of the border 20 km Ont Que
Geology of the Detour Belt- Current Government Map- 2011 Recent OGS geology maps hint at the westward extension of the Abitibi Detour Lake Gold Mine Detour West Project Area The Detour Lake Greenstone Belt is believed to extend at least 60 km further west from its most recently interpreted extent.
Westward Continuation of the Detour Belt Correlation based on historic aeromagnetic data Ontario- magnetic data at 850m line spacing no geological mapping Ontario Quebec Detour Belt- 200m spaced magnetic & AEM data limited regional geological mapping Quebec- many detailed magnetic & AEM surveys detailed regional mapping Detour West Property Detour Lake Gold Mine Sunday Lake Deformation Zone The lack of exploration in Ontario is unwarranted Lower Detour Deformation Zone Comparison of regional 850 m spaced airborne magnetic data west of the Detour Lake Mine and 200 m spaced data at the Detour Lake Mine outlines the continuation of greenstone belt lithologies west of Detour in Ontario
Regional Geological Interpretation Regional drilling by Dome Mines, 1982 intersected mafic/intermediate/felsic gneisses interpreted to represent primary rock types referred to as komatiite, ultramafic & mafic volcanic, felsic volcanic agglomerates & flows and sedimentary rocks. Iron formation & ultramafic rock occur at the Detour Mine & Detour West discovery and magnetic responses indicate that these rocks reoccur at Detour West basic volcanic flows/tuffs 10 kilometres may be komatiitic basalt or UM rock sedimentary rocks Granitic rock Detour Lake Gold Mine Dome ddh s 1982 sedimentary rocks, magnetite felsic to intermediate volcanic rocks Regional magnetic data re-gridded by TOE. Regional trend removed, northsouth trend removed Detour West Property Granitic rock Volcanic/sedimentary contact & Sunday Lake/Lower Detour deformation zones iron formation +/- UM rocks

Positive Initial Results from preliminary Geophysics 1. Airborne VTEM electromagnetic & magnetic surveying completed by Tri Origin. 2. A test line of deep-looking IP provided proof of concept that targets can be delineated through overburden. 3. Distribution of volcanic rocks, iron formations, major structures & adjacent sedimentary basin much better understood VTEM at Detour West IP at Detour West

Detour West Gold Project Summary Detour West is a unique, previously unrecognized & unexplored campscale opportunity along a gold-rich corridor of the Abitibi greenstone belt underpinned by the emerging Detour Lake Gold District Ground follow-up at selected target areas is planned to include analysis of gold grain distribution in overburden & IP surveying to prioritize areas for detailed grid work and diamond drilling
