Research Interest & Objectives: Quantum many-body theories have been extensively used in our research works applied in atomic, molecular and ultra-cold microscopic particles. i) Thrust has been always for precise estimations of physical properties of the above areas with correlation exhaustive many- body methods with sophisticated numerical and computational techniques. Over last couple of years, my research is mostly focused on the interaction of cold atoms and molecules with light, specially optical vortex. Our highly cited recent work on the transfer mechanism of orbital angular momentum from light to cold matter motivates few experiments by world leading groups and opened up new avenue to quantum technologies, like quantum communication, quantum memory and quantum computations. Our proposed experimental scheme to estimate the value and orientation of matter vortex without collapsing the total condensate state and commute plus storing information through cold Rydberg atoms are few of our highlighting research contributions. ii) Precision estimations of fundamental constants of nature, like, different electromagnetic and weak nuclear moments, weak charge using electronic transitions in Atoms and molecules are few other major areas of my research activities to probe the standard model of particle physics as well as precision improvement of atomic/molecular clocks. iii) Estimating the astrophysical abundances of atomic and molecular species in both neutral or ionic forms using the precise electronic transitions are the other avenues of my research. iv) I have very clear career vision in Quantum Optics and Technologies. We have recently proposed a noble technique to trap atoms inside photonics crystal using waveguide. We would like to exploit strong dipole-dipole interaction among Rydberg atoms to communicate quantum information. These informations can be embedded in normal Gaussian light or in electrons. These projects have long sighted goal with stable optical vortex or with electron vortex. One can fore these as quantum circuit, bus and memory for the proposed quantum computer.
