Rev. Date: 20-Jun-2010 Ultipor Nylon 6,6 and N6,6 Posidyne Membrane Description Pall provides a complete range of Nylon 6,6 membranes for fluid filtration in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, electronics, food and beverage industries, and for analytical applications. Ultipor Nylon N6,6 Membranes Ultipor Nylon 6,6 membranes are very resistant to mechanical, chemical and thermal stress. They can be used in either direction, are inherently hydrophilic, have high flow rates, low pressure drops and very low extractables. Where appropriate, they can be steam sterilized without change in flow or pore size characteristic. Ultipor Nylon 6,6 membranes are available in a wide range of pore sizes, and as supported and unsupported membranes. N6,6 Posidyne Membranes N6,6 Posidyne membranes possess all the benefits of the Ultipor N6,6 range, plus an important additional feature: Positive zeta potential in aqueous fluids. Many important contaminants, such as endotoxins, bacteria, viruses and colloidal silica are negatively charged, and the retention of these particles is therefore significantly improved with N6,6 Posidyne membranes. N6,6 Posidyne membranes are available in various pore sizes. Major Advantages Safe retention of contaminants Inherently hydrophilic Excellent flow rates Lot-to-lot and within-lot consistency Excellent handling properties Mechanically robust Low extractables Compatible with a variety of sealing methods Passes USP Class VI-121 C plastic test for biosafety Specifications Dimensions Master rolls: 12.75 x500 Packaging Core: Cores are PVC 3.0 I.D. Packaging: Shrink-wrap around outside of each roll.
