Benefits at a Glance Casing and impeller wear ring: possible Heating: The volute casing can be heated on the suction and discharge side. Pressure-retaining parts: Safe design on the basis of computerized strength analysis and quality casting with corrosion allowance. Gland packing: Retrofit with commercial mechanical seal is possible. Rotor and bearings: dimensioned so as to ensure a shaft deflection below 0.05 mm and a bearing life of more than 7 0 operating hours. Fied bearing: minimum aial movement of the rotor, fied by shaft nut. Hydraulic system: nominal data and dimensions in accordance with ISO 5/EN 5. Flanges: to DIN, other flange variants possible. Jacking screws: for easy dismantling. Volute: low radial forces (double volute, if required). Back pull-out design: When the pump is dismantled, the casing may remain in the piping. Constant-level oiler: ensures constant lubrication of the bearings and facilitates oil level control. Shaft: not in contact with the medium handled (dry shaft, therefore no need for special materials). Standardised modular design: ensures fast delivery and small stock of spare parts. Coolable shaft seal: In addition to the casing heating, CPK-Hb can be supplied with a cooled shaft seal chamber. Radial bearing: permits easy assembly and compensates possible thermal epansion of the shaft. Support foot: rigid, stable.
