Configuration Assembly Procedure 1 1. Fix the dial indicator holder (4) on rail with screw and adjust position: the dial indicator holder (4) MUST BE normal to the rail 2. Screw in the driving gear (5) on the angle head (6); insert this assembly in the dial indicator holder (4) 2 3 3. Insert the mobile counterpoint (3) on base (1) rails 7
Assembly Procedure 4 4. Place dial indicator (7) and lock it on the driving gear (6) with the appropriate screw 5 5. Adjust driving gear (5) position and lock it using appropriate screw 6. Place the cermet head (8)on driving gear (5) 6 8
Configuration Assembly Procedure 7 7. Lock the cermet head (8) on driving gear (5) using appropriate screw 8 8. Insert the fixed counterpoint (2) on base (1) rails 9
Preliminary Operations 1. Measure tool dimension in order to preset distance between fixed and mobile counterpoint (2 e 3) 1 2. Polish the tool with cleaning agent in order to remove any particles especially on the shank and on the little center 2 10
Configuration Preliminary Operations 3. Polish fixed counterpoint (2) and mobile counterpoint (3) 3 4. Place the tool with the shank on the fixed counterpoint (2); pull the lever of the mobile counterpoint (3) to retract the point and, carefully, release it in order to join with the little center of the tool 4 11
Preliminary Operations 5 5. Adjust distance of the driving gear (5). Cermet head (8) and pads must be in touch 6. Position of dial indicators (7) during measurement process (example) 6 12
Handling Do not drop. The product may malfunction if subjected to strong shocks or vibrations. Handle all moving parts with care. Cleaning Before using the device use an air compressed blower and a soft cloth to remove dust and filth. Keep the rails lubricated.
