Linda was a phenomenal astrologer and relationship expert who was definitely ahead of her time. Have purchased several of Linda Goodman' s astrology-related books. All of them offer much more information on life, on one's belief in their choice of a Higher Power, and are just plain comforting and uplifting, without constantly injecting astrology into everything she writes. Love her writing style, and the positive feelings she gives about life in general. This book seemed to be spot-on compared to the people in my life with these signs. I have not read any of her other books, but have heard that her sun signs book I'd a must read.i only gave it 4 stars because I'm not into astrology enough to consider myself an expert. Ok when I first got married this is the first book I ran to. If your having trouble with your relatives, spouse, coworkers and you wonder why just look at their sign! This book has given me a heads up countless times. Especially when dealing with my leo husband and understanding his families quirks. This made the transition so much easier. She gives you tips, hints and understanding on the other person. A must have in any persons library. Although there have been many years since this book was first written, I can find no better book that explains how different people can inter-react with each other in ANY kind of relationship. Don't be fooled by the title, although this can definitely be an asset to lovers, you can also help yourself to understand friendships, work relationships, and even how to most positively deal with acquaintances by reading the book. Her general information on astrology is also very easy to understand. My #1 go to astrology work! Her information has been more than accurate over the many years I have referred to this book. I don't live my life by astrology, but this book is in the neighborhood of being about 75% right. Even when she described another person's characteristics and traits that I didn't agree with, over time more and more of that person's real personality came to the surface and what she said turned out to be right. It's more of a book of guidelines into potential relationships. Good place to start.
Every time I acquire this tome it, somehow, disappears from my library. I understand that this is one of the most in depth astrological rendering on relations and relationships but I wish it would be returned. However, this book gives you endless pleasure and a great insight into the the stars' influence on love affairs. The writings of Linda Goodman are so intriguing and entertaining that, even if you are not a fan of astrology, you will enjoy this book. Hopefully, this is my last purchase of this one even if I have to place it under lock and key! Linda Goodman is the one we should go to for astrological infor. Everyone should have this and Sun signs. Been reading for 20 years. They've never let me down.
