The situation is quite dierent if we use the Gaussian rule for integrals on unbounded intervals. In this paper we want to construct a quadrature formula simple like the Gaussian rule and with the same rate of convergence of the error of the best approximation in L 1 w.moreover, we will consider special quadrature rules of Gaussian type for the computation of integrals of functions having a singularity at the origin.
