ABOUT THE PROJECT why is it important? 1. Gender awareness of mobility/travel behaviours: implications for city planning and transport planning 2. Deeper understanding of gender differences in daily trips associated with gendered divisions of labour. 3. New methodology VGI (Volunteered Geographic Information)using smartphones, trackers, software, GIS and the Web. 4. Wider understanding of time uses between paid employment and unpaid work (in the home, care, personal, leisure and related) in urban space.
