(China) ABSTRACT There are many shortcoming and instability situation on pile-cap treatment of traditional driven pre-stressed concrete pile. With newly developed techniques of hollow pile-cap and horizontal shear-friction reinforcement on pile head, DH-PHC pile can reduce the constructing time & cost of pile-cap treatment, pile head soil discarding. In addition, with the shear-friction reinforcement in the hollow pile-cap, DH-PHC pile increase the tensile capacity of pile-cap, transfer lots work of site construction to the factory of high stability. DH-PHC pile is better than traditional pile, DH-PHC is cheaper on total-cost, more safe and stability, stronger in tensile capacity of pile-cap.
