Outline Objectives Tasks Deliverables UNFC classification Activities Common set of attributes for geo-resource objects INSPIRE Data exchange format Relationship to other projects, UNECE, etc.
Objective To create a format for delivery of the key economic attributes for oil & gas and mineral resource deposits.
Tasks Identify the attributes that have max economic value for the users Compare different classifications and categorisation used by the partners for the key attributes Mapping between them Define the common set of attributes for geo-resource objects Data exchange format for oil & gas and mineral deposits key economic and geological parameters INSPIRE recommendations existing operational geo-data exchange formats
Deliverables Harmonized set of key attributes for the spatial objects April 2011 Public, for wide dissemination Data exchange format for spatial object attributes April 2012 Public, for wide dissemination
UNFC classification Compare different classifications and categorisation used by the partners and make mapping between the key parameters of the classifications UNFC classification (United Nations Framework Classification)
UNFC classification Mineral classification used in project partners Mineral classification Number of Countries Partner country UNFC 3 Bulgaria, Romania, Portugal Russian (with changes, adopted to UNFC...) 4 Slovenia, Estonia, Hungary, Poland SPE-PRMS for hydrocarbons, 3 Netherland, Belgium, Denmark
Activities Request from the participating data holders the existing standards, data types and data models used for oil & gas and mineral deposits Define the attributes for MINERAL and ENERGY RESOURCES COMMON set of attributes for geo-resource Data availability, accessibility and acceptance
Common set of attributes for geo-resource object Data availability Information is available (already collected) Information available but it is incomplete Information exists but is not available yet (not collected) Information exists and it can be collected during the project Information does not exist (not possible to collect) Not applicable or not the subject of the dataset Data acceptance acceptance for incorporation this information into portal not acceptance for incorporation this information into portal Data accessibility free accessible to everyone (public) access only to your organizations and employees No access Access for cost
Common set of attributes for geo-resource object
Common set of attributes for geo-resource object General site data Location Extracted material License name, type, period, status, references remarks coordinates, depth, geographic area type, production type, licensee, duration Economic data Geological data dimension, UNFC, reserves, mining method commodities, ore minerals, age, morphology, regional deposit structure
