Series AMF Dimensions: AMF1/1/0/0/00 AMF1/1 ORIENTATION Precautions e sure to read before handling. Refer to p.0-26 and 0-27 for Safety Instructions and common precautions on the products mentioned in this catalog, and refer to p.4.0- to 4.0-7 for more detailed precautions of every series. The element could be damaged if the difference in internal and external pressures exceeds 0.1MPa. w Do not use it with anything other than dry air (such as air containing moisture). e Make sure to install a micromist separator (AMD Series), a micromist separator with a prefilter (AMH Series) or a supermist separator (AME series), on the primary side. r The bracket that is provided with the product is for supporting the product itself. Thus, it cannot support the piping or other items that are connected. If these items need to be supported, provide an additional support. t A Class 2 Pressure Vessel Pressure Resistance Certificate is provided with those below, which are considered to be Class 2 pressure vessels. Make sure to store the certificate in a safe location. Micromist separator AMD0, 00, 1 Mounting ORIENTATION Caution q Verify the direction of the flow of the compressed air and the " " mark that indicates the inlet of the product before connecting. It cannot be used if connected in the opposite direction. w Make sure to install this product on horizontal piping. Replace the O ring, the gasket, and the element with new parts. Maintenance Caution q It is not possible to indicate a definite replacement interval for the element because it varies with the odor concentration of the compressed air. Verify the effective deodorization time. Thereafter, replace the element on a regular basis. w To use the odor remover filter for the first time, verify the effective deodorization time according to the procedure indicated below. 1) Record the date on which the odor remover filter is put into operation. 2) Calculate the total length of time that has elapsed from the time it was put into operation until it has started to emit an oil odor. 3) Use the length of time calculated in step 2) as an approximate effective deodorization time. If changes are made to the operating conditions, the effective deodorization time must be checked again. For notes e and r, refer to the left.
