December Calendar Game: Students play in pairs or small groups (teams). They will keep track of their own points. Teams take turns picking a day of the month (in any order). Click on the picture to go to a math problem. (When done with the problem, you may want to use the pen to mark through the day so all know it has been used.) To return to the calendar page, click on the snowflake. All teams work the given problem, and record their answer on a marker board or index card. The team that picked the calendar day gets to answer the problem first. If they get it right, they get 10 points, and other teams get 0 points. If they get it wrong, they get 0 points, and 10 points will be given to all other teams that have it right (as shown on their board/card). Answers are hidden behind the snow globe. Some problem pages have BONUS questions (pull star that has a "Q"). 5 extra points can be gained if a team answers it correctly (answers are on the star that has an "A"). Some pages don't have a question at all. Those pages will either award extra points (or take away points) for the team that picked that day. Anytime you see a music symbol, click for music. The team with the most points "wins". 1
