Wave-ice interaction, wave model development of WAVEWATCH III to include source terms to directly include effects from wave-ice interaction and remote sensing techniques to observe waves in sea ice. Project funded by the Office of Naval Research F. Ardhuin. 2.) Projected changes in wave climate. Analysis of geophysical climate model datasets that predict future wave climate with Mark Hemer, and Alvaro Semedo. My particular role is analysis of the project changes in the swell wave field in collaboration with Alvaro Semedo among others. 3.) Assessment of an Ensemble of EC-Earth climate simulations for the historical perspective in collaboration Mikhail Dobrynin (Univeristy of Hamburg) and Alvaro Semedo amongst others researchers in Europe. Field Experience 2009 January 29- February 5 aboard the Kilo Moana Research Vessel (co-chief scientist) - collected wave data across the Hawaiian Islands Island shadowing of wind waves and swell.
