DEATH = STILLNESS LIFE = MOTION Figure 8 Above is the characteristic of life and death described throughout the course. MOTION Modern Language Yang (+) Yin (-) Figure 9 Ancient Language (penis) (vagina) The ancient language using solid (penis) and broken (vagina) lines above have the same meaning as the ones used in the I Ching, or Pagua symbol. Yin and Yang Dynamics Figure 10 a,b & c Yang white (male, hot) Yin black (female, cool) a b c This well known symbol (10 a), represents the balanced state of Yin and Yang; However they are in a constant state of motion (10 b&c), always changing and alive.
"The Law of The Five Forces. A Blueprint of Life." Cycle of generation (Expansion) Figure 11 The Cycle of generation as it is often called, simply meaning anything that expands, generates, produces, precipitates, etc. The accelerator of the system. Cycle of Control (Contraction) Figure 12...also called the cycle of destruction, simply meaning, the cycle that reduces, restricts, controls. The brakes of the system.
The Five Elements (Whole) Figure 13 The Five Forces, showing both control and destruction cycles together in a self regulating system. The dynamics of this system can be thought of in this way: The Generating cycle works as the "accelerator", and the control cycle works as the " brakes". A Few Attributes blood reproductive blood vessles heart Figure 14 nerves liver stomach muscles pancreas kidney bladder lymphatic lungs large intestine A few of the Organs are listed here to follow along with the class. A complete list which includes emotions, colors, tastes, traits etc. is displayed later in figure 18
Liver Meridian Figure 15 Water Figure 16 Directional Flow The Direction of this meridian is up. Starting in the big toes, the Liver meridian goes up the insides of the legs, into the sexual glands (Women and Men) irrigating everything on it's path with energy, including of course the Liver. The loop through the sexual glands is often omitted or censored from most modern day Liver Meridian charts. This Hieroglyph describes the way that water moves and behaves, through a pictorial description: strong on the inside/weak on the outside. It conforms to obstacles with ease, but it can penetrate very dense materials. The Hieroglyph is very similar to the Chinese Trigram symbol for water, which is present in the I Ching Symbol. 2002
The Meridian System (The Earthly System) 12 Basic Meridians of 5 major organ systems Heart Triple Heater Pericardium Small Intestine Spleen Stomach Lungs Large Intestine Kidney Bladder Liver Gallbladder Element Fire Earth Metal Water Wood Figure B Meridians Activate Organs a detailed view of just one meridian (the stomach meridian) bringing energy to the stomach. The Meridians carry energy to each of the organs in the body.there are 12 basic meridians in the body "They are the body's main river flows of energy... energy plus organ equals function, every cell needs energy to keep it alive." The little dots on the meridians (acupuncture points) represent different places where energy is exchanged with the cosmos. Each meridian is linked with one specific element. 2002

It is the Master list of the elements and their connections in the body. Below the cycles are shown as a quick reference for the Generation and Control interactions. Generation Cycle Control Cycle In practical use, notice how these cycles are used in conjunction with the chart above. One example is how deep breathing helps to control nervousness. Deep breathing stimulates the lungs, (Metal Element) which controls the nerves (Wood Element).
