ORIGINS OF THE SCIENTIFIC REVOLUTION 335 BCE-1687 CE

A New View of the Universe Scientists of the 1500s asked same questions as Greeks: What is the universe made of? How does it work? The answers marked the beginning of the Scientific Revolution

Nicolaus Copernicus concluded that the sun, not the Earth, was the center of the universe feared criticism and did not immediately publish his findings heavily ridiculed for his ideas
