OSI SAF Sea Ice Product Suite Changes introduced on 15/09/2015 : Global Sea Ice Edge and Sea Ice Type - a change of the algorithm to improve transition between seasons as well as robustness against sensor degradation. Low Resolution Sea Ice Drift ingesting AMSR-2 data in addition to SSMI/S and ASCAT as input to the algorithm.
