Algebra 1 EOC Review Stations Use these stations as a warm-up to your end-of-the year review! Each station consists of a brief summarization of the topics (plus calculator keystrokes), a basic practice sheet, and an EOC multiple choice practice sheet. Stations Include: Linear Equations Exponential Equations Quadratic Equations Statistics Non-Calculator Questions A student work sheet has been provided (with matching answer key) to reduce paper usage. Only ONE copy of each station sheet is needed when Student Work Sheet is utilized!

Linear Equations: y = mx + b Slope (Change Amount) y intercept (Starting Amount) To Find Slope: m = (y y) (x x) Ex: Write an equation of a line that goes through the points (9, -3) and ( 4, 2) 1. Find the slope: m = (-3 2) = -5 = -1 (9 4) 5 2. Set up a skeleton equation. y = mx + b 3. Find your special b -3 = -1(9) + b -3 = -9 + b +9 +9 6 = b 4. Write your final equation: y = -1x + 6
