EXECUTIVE SUMMARY JMK Exploration Consulting was requested by Tamarack Gold Resources, Inc. ( Tamarack ), to complete a technical report for assessment purposes on their recently completed reconnaissance prospecting program on their 100% owned Jonson Lake Property ( Property ). The Property is situated approximately 120 km north of Sudbury, Ontario and approximately 5 km north-west of the village of Shining Tree, Ontario (Figure 1). The Property is bounded by UTM coordinates 476,200 E to 477,400 E, and 527,0250 N to 527,1850 N (NAD83, Z17N), and is covered by National Topographic System (NTS) map sheet 41P/11. The Property consists of 1 unpatented mining claim totalling 12 units, and covering an area of 192 ha (Table 1, Figure 2). In the summer of 2017, Tamarack completed a total of 2.0 days of prospecting on the Property. This work was completed from July 5 th through to July 7 th, 2017. A prospecting program was completed that targeted the Pacesetter showing located along the south shoreline of Jonson Lake. Work completed included locating historical trenches, partially clearing and sampling them, as well as locating historical diamond drill holes. Prospecting identified altered and sheared mafic volcanics, quartz-feldspar porphyritic dykes, and quartz/carbonate veining. A total of 9 samples were taken from the Property and submitted for analysis. Highlights of the prospecting program include 0.392 g/t Au, 0.461 g/t Au, 3.37 g/t Au, 3.41 g/t Au, and 6.62 g/t Au. Additional work on the Property and should include brushing and clearing the historical trenches, as well as washing them for the purpose of channel sampling, as well as further prospecting along strike of the shear/alteration zone. Compilation of historical work should also be completed, specifically the detailed geological mapping and geophysics completed by T.G.R. Resources Ltd. and Onitap Resources Ltd. Upon favourable surface results, diamond drilling could be considered to test the historical Pacesetter shear and 2

alteration zone at greater depth then what was tested by Pacesetter, along with testing the shear zone and corresponding VLF anomaly along strike of the showing. Prospecting is also recommended on the west shore of a small pond located 200 m north of Jonson Lake where historical grabs returned values up to 0.29 oz/t Au and 19,200 ppm As have been reported. 3

1.0 INTRODUCTION In the spring of 2016, Tamarack staked one unpatented mining claim totaling 12 units (192 ha) in Churchill Township. In the summer of 2017, Tamarack completed a total of 2 days of prospecting on the Property. This work was completed from July 5 th through to July 6 th, 2017. The work program, targeting the Pacesetter showing located along the south shoreline of Jonson Lake, was reconnaissance in nature, and consisted of locating historical stripped areas, partially clearing, and sampling them, as well as locating historical diamond drill holes. 2.0 PROPERTY DETAILS 2.1 Location and Access The Property is situated approximately 120 km north of Sudbury, Ontario and approximately 5 km north-west of the village of Shining Tree, Ontario (Figure 1). Access to the Property is provided via Hwy 560 to the village of Shining Tree. A boat is required to cross Shining Tree Lake to portage, located at 477410E, 5270150N, that connects to Jonson Lake. A full range of equipment, supplies, services, and skilled labour that would be required for any exploration and mining work are available in the nearby cities of Timmins, Sudbury, and Temiskaming Shores, Ontario. 2.2 Topography and Vegetation The topography of the Property is characterized by rolling hills and flat areas separated by broad swamp areas and lakes. Topographic relief is less than 30 metres in hilly areas where outcrop exposure is up to 5%. Forest cover is a combination of poplar, birch, jack 4

pine, and cedar. Overburden is sandy till with very small areas of boulder till and clay. Abundant water resources are present in the lakes, rivers, creeks, and beaver ponds on the Property. The mean elevation of the property is approximately 380 m above sea level. 2.3 Claim The Property is bounded by UTM coordinates 476,200 E to 477,400 E, and 527,0250 N to 527,1850 N (NAD83, Z17N), and is covered by National Topographic System (NTS) map sheet 41P/11. The Property consists of 1 unpatented mining claim totalling 12 units, and covering an area of 192 ha (Table 1, Figure 2). The showing has been described as a quartz-carbonate-fuchsite, pyritiferous shear zone with a width of up to 30 feet (9.1 m) within a larger 100 ft (30.5 m) alteration zone. Chip sampling in the trenches returned up to 0.273 oz/t over 4.6 m. In the same year, Pacesetter completed 8 diamond drill holes totalling 293.8 m that targeted the gold mineralization encountered in the trenches. The drilling failed to trace out the shear zone, as only 4 holes intersected a weak shear zone with low values (0.045 oz/t Au over 9.1 m) (Born, 1984). 1975: Pacesetter Mines Ltd. completed 13 miles of line cutting, followed by 11.5 miles of VLF EM-16 electromagnetic surveying, and 7 miles of magnetometer surveying. Several strong conductors were noted to be of possible geological significance. No further known work had been completed by Pacesetter 1982-1984: T.G.R. Resources Ltd. completed 20 miles of line cutting and completed VLF EM-16 electromagnetic and magnetic surveying, along with minor prospecting. 1984: Onitap Resources Ltd. completed geological and geochemical soil surveys over the grid that was cut by T.G.R. Resources. Onitap described the alteration zone as being 30 (9.1 m) to 100 ft (30.5 m) wide, consisting of altered carbonate exhalites plus pyrite with strong pervasive sericitization, silicification, carbonatization, and epidotization being present. The alteration zone is cut by numerous quartz-carbonate veins. A quartzfeldspar porphyry bisects the alteration zone and is probably one of the main controls on the gold mineralization. The alteration zone continues to the east and was noted to 6

appear to widen and correspond to a deeply weathered and sheared carbonate exhalite. The soil geochemical survey generated numerous gold-in-soil anomalies south of the historical trenches. The VLF EM-16 survey completed by T.G.R. Resources Ltd. generated a strong conductor that corresponded to the alteration zone and/or contact with the overlying pillowed basalts to the east of the trenches (Born, 1984). 1991-1992: C. Suchanek completed line cutting, prospecting, geological mapping, and mechanical stripping on a gold-arsenic unit hosted within felsic volcanics near a pond located in the northern half of the current claim. Encouraging grab samples, up to 0.29 oz/t Au and 19,200 ppm As, were obtained from the work. 7

4.0 GEOLOGY 4.1 Property Geology Due to the limited time that the author has spent on the Property, the below summarized description of the geology on the Property has been largely derived from Born s 1984 assessment report completed for Onitap Resources Ltd. on the Jonson Lake Property. The geology of the Property mainly consists of east-west trending basalt flows intercalated with felsic pyroclastic and carbonate exhalite (iron formation) rocks. The entire sequence is cut by various gabbro and diabase-dolerite dykes and by a quartzfeldspar porphyry (Figure 3). The mafic metavolcanic rocks are characterized by medium to light brown coloured weathered surfaces and medium to dark green fresh surfaces. The basalts consist of massive to schistose fine-grained flows and pillowed sequences. Most of the basalts consist of chloritized fine-grained flows which are observed with pillows (1-foot size) which can be used for tops determinations. The flows are generally strongly carbonatized (Born, 1984). The exhalite unit consists mainly of carbonate exhalites (iron formation-carbonate facies), some chlorite schists and an alteration zone. This alteration zone consists of Fecarbonate +/- sericite +/- silicified +/- epidote with pyrite-gossan present in many places. The rocks are generally a chocolate brown colour, gossanous, and strongly weathered. This alteration is associated with a shear zone 30 to 100-foot wide with numerous quartzcarbonate veins (+/- gold mineralization). It also appears that some strongly carbonatized basalt flows may be intercalated with carbonate exhalites +/- pyrite in the alteration zone - shear along the south shore of Jonson Lake. The carbonate exhalites which are along strike both to the west and east of the alteration zone are mainly made up of slightly laminated Fe carbonate exhalites with some fragmental material included or nearby. Typically they are fine-grained and exhibit a dark brown weathered surface with a light grey fresh surface. Minor traceable pyroclastic units are intercalated in the sequence as are chlorite schists (Born, 1984). 9

The quartz-feldspar porphyry (QFP) it typically is massive and coarse-grained with 1-3mm quartz and feldspar phenocrysts. The weathered surface is white with a pinkish fresh surface. In the vicinity of the alteration zone-shear zone the QFP is often carbonatized with some quartz veining. The spatial and textural features tend to suggest that the quartz-feldspar porphyry is intrusive in nature, and was altered by later shearing. The QFP is located near and interrelated with the main carbonate alteration zone and is somehow related to the gold mineralization (Born, 1984). Several northwest trending diabase dyke crosscut the metavolcanic rocks and range in approximate width from 6 to 30 metres. The diabase weathers a red-brown colour and tends to form ridges parallel to the strike of the dyke. Texturally, the diabase is fine to medium-grained and exhibits sub-ophitic textures. The rocks consist of 30-50% sericitized-epidotized plagioclase and 50-70% chloritized pyroxene (Born, 1984). 10

5.0 2017 PROSPECTING PROGRAM 5.1 Methods In the summer of 2017, Tamarack completed a surface prospecting program on the Caribou Lake Property. The above program was completed on the property from July 5 th through to July 6 th, 2017. A total of 2.0 days were spent prospecting on the Property. 5.2 Work Completed The prospecting program targeted the Pacesetter showing located along the south shoreline of Jonson Lake. Work completed included locating historical trenches, partially clearing and sampling them, as well as locating historical diamond drill holes. 5.3 Assay Results Prospecting along the south shoreline of Jonson Lake identified altered and sheared mafic volcanics, quartz-feldspar porphyritic dykes, and quartz/carbonate veining. A total of 9 samples were taken from the Property and submitted for analysis. Figure 4 provides the location of the samples. Highlights of the prospecting program include 0.392 g/t Au, 0.461 g/t Au, 3.37 g/t Au, 3.41 g/t Au, and 6.62 g/t Au. Sample descriptions are provided in Table 2, and assay certificates and photographs of the samples can be found in Appendix II & III respectively. Figure 4 provides the location of the samples. Sulphide content within the altered and sheared mafic volcanics ranged from trace to 1% pyrite, with possible arsenopyrite noted in one sample (Table 2). 12

5.4 Historical Data The author was able to locate several historical trenches that were completed by Pacesetter Mines. Their locations are provided in the sample descriptions (Table 2). Discarded drill core (IEX diameter) at the north end of a trench adjacent to shoreline was located at 477120E, 5270420N. The author believes this discarded core to be proximal and belonging to historical drill hole PA-1. A discarded drill rod, sticking upright in overburden, was also located at 477154E, 5270391N. The author believes this to be proximal to the location of historical drill holes PA-5, and PA-6. No casings were found in the field. Drill logs do not indicate if the casings were left in the hole or later removed. 5.5 Sample Preparation, Analyses, and Security Geochemical grab samples were prepared and assayed for gold by AGAT Laboratories of Mississauga, Ontario. AGAT is accredited to ISO/IEC 17025 by Standards Council of Canada. All analysis was completed using industry standard methods. Once received by AGAT, the entire sample is crushed and 250 grams is pulverized. Gold analysis is performed using a 30g fire assay fusion followed by an Inductively Coupled Plasma Optical Emission Spectrometry (ICP-OES) finish. The detection limit for gold using this method is 0.001 ppm, and the upper limit is 10 ppm. 13

6.0 CONCLUSIONS The principle conclusions of the 2017 prospecting program on the Jonson Lake Property are as follows: 1) Highly anomalous gold, up to 6.620 g/t, was sampled from several overgrown trenches that were established by Pacesetter Mines Ltd. in 1974. Although not verified from the limited prospecting completed by Tamarack, historical reports mention that the trenches are located within a 30 ft (9.1 m) to 100 ft (30.5 m) wide shear zone. The shear zone trends east-southeast, and dips approximately 60 degrees to the north under Jonson Lake. 7.0 RECOMMENDATIONS The following recommendations can be made on the basis of the 2017 prospecting completed on the Jonson Lake Property: 1) Compilation of historical work should also be completed; specifically the detailed geological mapping and geophysics completed by T.G.R. Resources Ltd. and Onitap Resources Ltd should be compiled into a GIS database. 2) Additional work on the Property and should include brushing and clearing the historical trenches, as well as washing them for the purpose of channel sampling, as well as further prospecting along strike of the shear/alteration zone. 3) Upon favourable surface results, diamond drilling could be considered to test the historical Pacesetter shear and alteration zone at greater depth then what was tested by Pacesetter, along with testing the shear zone and corresponding VLF anomaly along strike of the showing. 16

4) Prospecting is also recommended on the west shore of a small pond located 200 m north of Jonson Lake where historical grabs returned values up to 0.29 oz/t Au and 19,200 ppm As have been reported. 17
