We Complement Each Other! Complement Angle Relationships 8.5 Learning Goals In this lesson, you will: Explore complement angle relationships in a right triangle. Solve problems using complement angle relationships. You ve worked with complements before, remember? Two angles whose measures add up to 90 degrees are called complements. In right triangles, complements are pretty easy to locate. The two angles whose measures are not 90 degrees must be complements. In trigonometry, complements are easy to identify by name, too. The prefix co- in front of trigonometric ratio names stands for complement. 617
