KC provided a full topographic survey of the study area including GPS coupled echo soundings and setting of control and permanent benchmarks utilizing networked GPS receivers referenced to published NGS monumentation along with digital level runs to established benchmarks. Conversion of coordinate systems and vertical datum to NAD 27 and NGVD 29 datum, as well as calculation and determination of previous local datum to NAVD 88, was also provided. Provided digital base mapping to the prime contractor, GeoDesign. Orange County Choppers ALTA Survey in Newburgh, KC conducted the initial research and boundary survey of an approximately 7 acre area for the purpose of constructing a 100,000 SF manufacturing and retail facility. Services included GPS aerial control and mapping, coordination with the Orange County DPW to facilitate parcel exchanges between the client and Orange County, creation of a map, and provision of legal exchanges. The created map was for various parcels and easements, which KC provided legal descriptions for. The route survey encompassed portions of New York State Highway 17K and the New York State Thruway.
