Timmy Telescope Solar Astronomy Outreach ~ 2016 Thank you for coming to our school and teaching us about our solar system, it was lots of fun. My favorite part was when were the planets and asteroid belt, I also liked beads that changed color in UV light. The most educational part was when we learned how the planets were formed... Special thanks to: Stephen Ramsden, director of the Charlie Bates Solar Astronomy Project for all his help and support this year. Stephen helping with beads at Cochiti Pueblo E.S. Eldorado H.S., Albuquerque, NM Timmy Telescope Solar Astronomy Outreach ~ 2016

This is a volunteer effort and people often ask, Why do you do this? The Answer: When someone (no matter what age) looks through the scopes and says, WOW. That s our Payback for lugging all our equipment, setting up, standing in the hot sun, and then tearing it all down. Timmy Telescope Solar Astronomy Outreach www.timmytelescope.com We hope that we ve introduced the public a better understanding and appreciation of the Sun--our closest star.
